Your best 2 flavor juice?
submitted almost 11 years ago by [deleted]

Rules: Juice can only use two flavorings, sweeter doesn't count. What is your recipe?

Trying to find something new I can make by just ordering two flavors.

Dragonfruit BonBon

  • 15% TFA Toasted Marshmallow
  • 5% TFA Dragonfruit

Sweet and creamy with a nice dragonfruit taste.

Speared Pear

  • 1% TFA Pear
  • 1% TFA Spearmint

Minty Pear, pretty basic, very easy to mix in large quantities at very low cost.

Botboy were your the op of Speared Pear? I always have a bottle of this mixed. Im currently tweaking it to my taste adding a bit of marshmallow and menthol as I find it a bit harsh in a dripper at 60/40 pg/vg

Probably because it's 60pg/40vg :p. I don't really drip anything less than 60vg, High pg ratio will be a bit harsh in a dripper, try using that recipe at 70/30 or 80/20. The taste may dim a bit, so you may have to up the percentages very slightly.

> I don't really drip anything less than 60vg

Same here. Percentages shouldn't need to be adjusted for this one though. I usually mix it 40/60 PG/VG.

Possible it's floating around elsewhere. Come to think about it, I think I saw a post somewhere like that maybe in an ancient monthly recipe thread here. Was making that on my own ages ago but it's all good. I think they called it Peared Spear. Might have been where I got the name, my first bottle just said Spearmint Pear on it.

I believe that credit would have to go to /u/InertiaCreeping, as he was the first to post it in the October 2013 Monthly Recipe thread. However, /u/Botboy141 has come up with some fantastic recipes!

Now I'll go back to my hovel, and clean out my syringes...

Haha thanks for finding that. Knew I had seen it here (that was well before my time here) lol. /u/InertiaCreeping ftw!

Just mixed up that Dragonfruit BonBon, excited to see how it turns out.

Super sweet, super creamy. Not an ADV for me by any means but it's a solid two flavor recipe. One of very few that I vape occasionally.

White Tictac: equal parts TFA Vanillin 10% pg concentrate and TFA peppermint. I used 8% each to make a 25/75 PG/VG blend at 6 mg/ml strength. Spot on flavor.

7% TFA Pear

4% Milkstone

by Botboy141almost 11 years ago

Doesn't count I don't think as milkstone requires 5-6 flavors depending on which version ;-)

What version would u recommend?

1 points

by Botboy141almost 11 years ago

I have kind of moved away from using bases now that I mix in bulk. However, my version 2.6 was my favorite, inspired by /u/3tern1ty but was my variation.

Just depends on what you're mixing it with.

this was exactly what i was going to post, but up a percent on both. it is a cheat, but technically counts.

thanks for reminding me i need some apple. Which vendor do you recommend?

1 points

by billgarmsarmyalmost 11 years agoFrugivore

im not op, but i really like hangsen apple mix and tfa apple candy. did not like tfa green apple

by nikniuqalmost 11 years ago

I'm in Australia so I haven't gotten to try many, so dunno.

I quite like the green apple flavours but only in mixes like above, they are very acidic.

Vapeking.com.au has a fresh green apple that is really nice but I don't know where they source their flavours.

I'm digging Swedish Fish and Grape. 50/50 blend. Add a little menthol, and Mmmm. I run about 15% flavoring.

by kirktalmost 11 years agoBring on the Diacetyl, baby

Just got in my "Swedish Gummy" (TFA) and as a solo flavor at 10% it just about ripped the lining from my throat. At 5% it's still too strong, but the flavor is spot-on. What brand are you using?

1 points

by ex-mo-fo-shoalmost 11 years ago

Also TFA. Come to think of it, i may have only used 5%.

1 points

by kirktalmost 11 years agoBring on the Diacetyl, baby

Makes more sense. I have it now at 5%, probably cutting it to 3. Going to experiment with some Pear and/or Marshmallow to round it out.

FA Cola 5%
TFA Koolada 2%

I can't remember if I originally found this here, or on ECF, but I've made this Honeydew Menthol recipe over and over:

  • 10% TFA Honeydew
  • 2% Menthol (10%)

If you want to break the 2 ingredient rule, add .5 to 2% Koolada.

Naturally extracted coffee- 5-10% your percentage will vary Bavarian cream- 7%

I extract the coffee using coarse ground beams and a French press with PG.

You genius. I have several coffee presses and never thought to use them when I made my own coffee extract. I can't remember how i strained it, but it was a bitch. I actually never vaped it because I was scared of the oils.
