Happy Mixing!
**Edit - as of now we have a full year of Monthly Recipe threads in the archive - I think that's worthy of a little pat on the back for this subreddit. Keep at it, mixers!
Alright, I guess I will kick us off. Probably something a lot of people have seen before but I had never actually tried one before. Not sure why, just hadn't.
We have ourselves a Key Lime Pie meant for drippers!
Mixed 91.8% VG
- 1.7% FA Custard
- 3% TFA Key Lime
- 1% TFA Pie Crust
- 2% TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust
- 0.5% FA Lime Cold-Pressed (Tahiti not distilled)
This was a first attempt mix, will make some adjustments over time after it steeps, had to make another 60ml though cause I vaped 10 of the 15 I made this morning already.
I use .8 TFA vanilla custard and .6 citrus punch instead of the cold pressed. It's pretty damn good. It was one of the recipes I've ever mixed. I'll have to try yours out though.
How grand is the difference between TFA Cheesecake and TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust? Is it imperative to have the latter? Do you think it could be worked around by using a bit of pie crust or graham cracker? I think I'm going to try tonight anyway, I just won't have the original to compare it to.
Extremely grand. graham crust is just that, you get the cheesecake but with a lot of crust. IME and a lot of others tend to agree, TFA Cheesecake is nearly unvapable.
If you do try it tonight, I'd start with TFA Cheesecake @ 0.5% instead of 2%. And sub 1% TFA Graham Cracker (clear)
>IME and a lot of others tend to agree, TFA Cheesecake is nearly unvapable.
Good god I don't know why I even bother continuing to try and make it vapeable... it literally ruins anything it touches. Can't even get the taste out of an atty without completely washing it down and rewicking.
Made this on Saturday and can't stop vaping it. Great work, it's really good! I bought the Lime Cold-Pressed just for the recipe and it seems like it'd be great with TFA Citrus Punch along with others. I'm also wondering how the C/G.Crust might play with an apple pie recipe. Sorry, I digress, this mix is reaaaally good, thx!
you are welcome :-). Just remember, as with most lime vapes, this one will dull down after about 2 months to the point where it's not the same vape. Don't try to put it on shelves in a retail store anyone haha
OMG this is actually posted on the first of the month. I don't know what to think about that! Kirk must be really bored!
Fuck you too Botboy ;)
Sometimes I have my shit together. Those times are rare, but they do exist.
Hahaha, just means you have a life unlike some of us (namely myself)!
Piney Dew
- 6% Pear (TFA)
- 5% Honeydew (TFA
- 2% Sweet Strawberry (CAP)
- 1% Dragonfruit (TFA)
- 1% Pineapple (LA)
- 1.5% Fresh Cream (FA)
I tend to be a dessert guy for the most part, but this fruity beast is quickly becoming my ADV. The Honeydew and Pineapple are awesome together. You can leave out the Fresh Cream if you want, I just can't get away from it.
Marmalade Skies
- 7% Vanilla Custard (CAP)
- 5% Sweet Strawberry (TFA)
- 2% Vanilla Swirl (TFA)
- 1% Fresh Cream (FA)
- .5% Dragonfruit (TPA)
- .3% Orange Cream (LA)
- .2% Pear (TPA)
Marmalade Skies is pretty much just a Mothers Milk recipe I tweaked a bit to get the orange cream to come through a bit more.
You usually mixing max VG or something else? Just curious, Piney Dew looks to be pretty raw on my throat if 50/50 or even 40/60 but might be really good max vg. Believe it or not, I'm out of PG/VG until Friday. Expected my order from NN to be here already ;-(. At least I have 12 liters coming! Also, any particular reason for the LA Pineapple in Piney Dew? Never tried LA's and don't have it on hand...
5% TFA raspberry 5% TFA strawberry 5% CAP sweet watermelon 2% sweetener 2% EM It tastes just like fruit by the foot candy. I went through 20ml today alone. It's bomb!
> 5% TFA raspberry
> 5% TFA strawberry
> 5% CAP sweet watermelon
> 2% sweetener
> 2% EM
> It tastes just like fruit by the foot candy. I went through 20ml today alone. It's bomb!
FTFY
Scotty Spritz
A lemon lime flavor, reminiscent of the clear bubbly drink we all had as a child.
- 3.5% TFA Lemon
- 3.5% Flavor Art Lime Tahiti
Melon Folly
A melon medley with a hint of marshmallow.
- 5% TFA Cantaloupe
- 3% TFA Honeydew
- 2% TFA Watermelon
- 2% LA Marshmallow
Melon Folly is oddly similar to what I'm vaping at the moment.
3% each of TFA Watermelon, TFA Watermelon Candy, LA Watermelon, and Capella's Melon. With 2% LA Marshmallow.
It turned out pretty horrid, as I was a bit heavy with the melon, never using them together before now. They all canceled one another out, and left me with a vaguely fruity Marshmallow.
You live and learn. :P
It's good to see melons and mallows can play well together, though, I've had a weird craving for it lately.
I just mixed this (folly) last night, a few hours of hot water bath, and it can only be described as "kick-ass". It really reminds me (exactly to be specific) of a Jameson melon flavor (the name escapes me). Simple, well rounded, pro-mix. Thank you very much.
My take on Honey Peary, I know it isn't anything like normal Honey Peary but I like it more
FA Pear 6%
FA Fuji Apple 5.5%
CAP Sweet Strawberry 5%
CAP Honeydew Melon 3%
Interesting that you chose apple in the recipe. Have you had TVC's HP? I'm curious to see how this would taste.
I haven't got around to trying real Honey Peary, but the clone of it was the first DIY juice I made. I just thought it would be a bit better with another flavor in it and Fuji Apple seemed like it would be better than the other flavors I had (Mango and Cola). I suck at describing the flavor of juices but I have had my friends do a taste test between my normal Honey Peary clone and my Apple Honey Peary and everyone likes the apple version more.
Simple and delicious
Wapplemelon Menthol
- 10% Menthol @ 3%
- Apple Candy (TFA) @ 1%
- Apple Mix (HS) @ 2%
- Koolada @ 1%
- 10% Citric Acid @ 1%
- Sweet Watermelon (Cap) @ 3%
- Watermelon (TFA) @ 1%
pretty much fell in love with apple mix, it's the best apple i've tried so far (which isn't a ton, but it's great). this is what i would consider mild menthol, sweet, and delicious. recommend a 3 day steep because the watermelon doesn't like to play nice fresh.
Looks tasty. Too bad I can't vape menthols anymore. Watermelon menthol was what got me off analogs. Apple has been in my rotation a ton lately as well (hence the flair).
Why aren't you able to vape the mentholated juices anymore? Don't like them or did you become allergic or something?
First time posting on the monthly thread, I'm not that good at coming up with original recipes but this one made it in to my daily rotation and I just can't stop vaping it.
- 7% Banana nut bread(TFA)
- 3% Banana nut bread(FW)
- 3% Cinnamon Danish(TFA)
- 2% Banana Cream(TFA)
I think that the TFA and FW banana nut bread blend really well together. If you want it to be a little more nutty try adding around 3-5% FW bananas gone nuts.
If someone could mix this up and critique it and maybe tell me what could make it better that would be awesome. :)
Inspired by my grandmother's baking for our birthdays, I bring you the Princess Cake. For those not familiar with Princess Cake, it's a Swedish dessert, basically a layered sponge cake. My grandmother used to make it with raspberry jam and pastry cream of some form in between the layers, topped with whipped cream and coated with marzipan.
Princess Cake
- 4% TFA Vanilla Cupcake
- 5% TFA Whipped Cream (I don't have FA but it would likely work better here at 3%).
- 3% CAP Vanilla Custard V2
- 1.5% FA Marzipan
- 1.25% FA Raspberry
Mixed 40/60 PG/VG
I haven't eaten Princess Cake in close to 10 years, but this vape is damn tasty and close enough in similarity for my recollection. Still making some adjustments to get it exactly how I want it, but it's good as is.
This one ended up really good after a hot water bath and about 4-5 days of steeping. Tasted kind of funny off the bat, but I was pretty happy about how it came out.
(All tfa flavors)
8% orange cream 6% lemon lime 4% raspberry sweet 2% sweet cream
I called it citrus cream because I am not creative.
One more contribution for the month I guess. Whipped this up at the spouses request, she likes this sort of thing around this time of year.
After 48 hours it's still vaping excellent, vapable after a shake and continue to vape the last 2 days...Quite tasty. Can't guarantee results after 48 hours so might want to mix a small batch. All TFA Too!
White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha Crunch
- 6% TFA White Chocolate
- 0.75% TFA Peppermint
- 1% TFA Mocha
- 3% TFA Graham Cracker (clear)
- 2% TFA Whipped Cream
Simple but a nice semi-complex vape. Bit of white chocolate and peppermint on the inhale for me, peppermint and mocha on the exhale with a hint of graham. If you want more graham, exhale through the nose. The whipped cream is just there to sweeten it up and smooth it out a bit.
Enjoy!
Edit: 3mg 30/70 PG/VG all NN products
Another tasty creation although not exactly what I was aiming for. Still working on a blueberry muffin, just haven't managed to quite get it right yet. This was a pleasant result though.
Blueberry Cinnamon Danish
- 6% TFA Blueberry Extra
- 1% TFA Brown Sugar Extra
- 1.5% FA Vienna Cream
- 2% CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl
- 0.5% FA Butterscotch
- 0.5% FA Marzipan
Mixed MAX VG
A pleasant inhale tasting of blueberry from a muffin (love blueberry extra for muffin like taste). A smooth exhale of creamy cinnamon with the other notes mixing in nicely.
So I've been on a cactus kick lately and finally found my favorite use of it. This is so simple yet so delicious. Much better than any other combination I've made of watermelon and strawberry and I've made a bunch.
Cactus Strikes Again
- 1% INW Cactus
- 1% FA Watermelon
- 3% TFA Strawberry
- 0.5% FA Kiwi
- 2% TFA Marshmallow (optional)
Rest of the flavors are not interchangeable for other vendors IMPO. They just won't complement each other correctly.
Simple, fruity, delicious.
Edit: Mixed 30/70, I take no blame for any harshness potentially experienced @ higher PG percentages.
What the heck does cactus taste like?
AMAZING. A combination of a delicious sweet/sour fresh ripe nectar with just a hint of aloe vera likeness to it if used at higher percentages.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opuntia
Shit is amazing in a wide combination of fruits, used correctly, it can also be an amazing sweetener.

#### Opuntia:

>Opuntia is a genus in the cactus [family](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_(biology)), Cactaceae.
>The most common culinary species is the Indian fig opuntia (O. ficus-indica). Most culinary uses of the term "prickly pear" refer to this species. Prickly pears are also known as tuna (fruit) or nopal (paddle, plural nopales) from the Nahuatl word nōpalli for the pads, or nostle, from the Nahuatl word nōchtli for the fruit; or paddle cactus.
>The genus is named for the Ancient Greek city of Opus, where, according to Theophrastus, an edible plant grew which could be propagated by rooting its leaves.

Pumpkin Pie
TPA Pie Crust 4%
TPA Coconut 2%
TPA Pumpkin Spice (1ml diluted into 9ml of PG) 3.5%
CAP Cake Batter 2%
TPA Sweet Cream 5%
Still working on it right now but it is getting close to complete
I like the idea of diluting the pumpkin spice... I haven't been able to get it to play nice in any mix... Must try :)
Gotta let that pumpkin spice age a bit. After a week it really backs off quite a bit. In a pumpkin pie I'm finding 1.5% with 8% pumpkin and 4% Bavarian cream making a great pie filling. Add your crust of choice (graham cracker or pie crust) and optional whip cream.
Started off as a clone attempt, but I wound up preferring what I was making to the original (Smokeless Symphony) and went in a different direction. So I used a goofy synonym-stuffed name for it:
Vapor Harmony
- 5% FA RY4 OR 7% Hangsen RY4
- 7% TFA Caramel Candy
- 2% FA Honey
- 1% FA MTS Vape Wizard
- 1% FA Black Pepper
Notes:
I don't see a lot of Black Pepper used, generally speaking, but it adds a sharpness to balance what would otherwise be overwhelming sweetness. I also originally used 2% Vape Wizard. The Hangsen RY4 seemed a little more dry, flavor-wise, and I kind of liked that. But I ran out and had a fair amount of FA RY4 on hand, and it's a pretty good variant.
Edit: it would probably help if I mentioned what it tastes like. The primary flavor is caramel, but there is a solid undertone of tobacco, with a subtle honey finish. It's been my ADV for weeks now.
Autumn and apple pie goes hand in hand for me. (Well, pumpkin pie too but maybe that will be my next attempt.)
Anyway, here's my take on Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream
I started with /u/HumanFogMachin3 's clone of $100 Apple Pie (which I've never tried) and tweaked it based on what flavors I have.
Mixed at 60% VG
- 8% Apple Pie (TFA)
- 1% Tart Granny Smith (TFA)
- 1% Brown Sugar Extra (TFA)
- 1% Graham Cracker Clear (TFA)
- 1% Cinnamon Sugar Cookie (TFA)
- 1% French Vanilla Regular (TFA)
- 2% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TFA)
- 0.5 ~ 1% Pear (TFA) -Rounds out the apple nicely
- ~0.5% Acetyl Pyrazine -Helps my hodgepodge of bakery stuff taste more like crust
After an hour bath at around 140 and an overnight rest, I'm quite happy with it.
The fruit, for me, is nearly perfect. I remembered reading on here somewhere that the secret to a more realistic apple flavor is a hint of pear. It's not enough to glare at you, just enough to elevate the apple.
The crust came out better than expected based on my ingredients on hand. Acetyl Pyrazine definitely helps.
The vanilla ice cream component is quite subdued. Not sure but I may add some Bavarian Cream, Vanilla Swirl, Vanilla Custard, Sweet or Whipped Cream.
Any thoughts or improvements are welcomed.
This sounds really good. I'll definitely try it when I have the flavors on hand. As far as bringing out the vanilla, do you happen to have Cap Simply Vanilla on hand?
Cannibal's Nana Pie
3% TPA Bavarian Cream
7.5% TPA Banana Cream
4.5% TPA Graham Cracker Cheesecake Crust
2% TPA Sweet Cream
1% TPA Ripe Banana
2.5% LA Creamy Caramel
First recipe I'm genuinely proud of. You can find my comments/notes on it here.
AQUA BERRY BLAST
- 9% Watermelon (TPA)
- 7% Blueberry (TPA)
- 4% Strawberry (TPA)
- 2% Menthol or Koolada
- 1 Drop per 3ML (Tart & Sour)
This is a great Sweet/Sour Fruit with a cold blast! It's one of my go to mixes and sorry if I posted wrong I tried to get it on the money.
If someone gets a chance could you tell me how to fix my post. It's a pain in the ass to read like this lol!
just regular Blueberry?
Yes but I find wild works better for my palate but others like just plain blueberry The candy blueberry is kinda rough in this mix so a side note.
I just made this one yesterday and I can't put it down. No name for it and sorry about formating I'm on mobile. 10% blueberry wild (tfa) 3% pomegranate (tfa) 3% dragonfruit (tfa) 0.25% vanilla custard (cap)
Here is my monthly addition....
9% mango guava(fw) 1% coconut (la)
Menthol to taste. I use about 5 drops per 10ml, but your concentration may differ from mine.
I call it othello, because this shit is moorish.
My rendition of Vanilla Coke: 6% TFA Cola 6% TFA Vanilla Swirl 3% Inawera Vanilla Pipe Tobacco
I usually make it at 6mg, 70/30. It taste pretty smooth as it is, but I'm still looking for more of that authentic Vanilla Coke flavor.
LA banana cream 7 percent. (Change this all you want)
Fw coffee 4 percent. (more= gross burnt taste)
Just screwing around with the few flavors I have, and made this weird thing.... I cant say it is good, but it is not bad, and I am seeing the potential in it using different banana and coffee flavors. Breakfast coffee with a non candy banana flavor. Maybe added with a stand alone creme, maybe even milkstone lr one of those multi flavor concentrates.
Here's my take on the ever-popular Sugar Cookie. Still working on tweaks.
Sugar Jones
- 5% Sugar Cookie (CAP)
- 5% Cinnamon Roll (FW)
- 4.5% Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP)
- 1% EM (TFA/TPA)
- 1% Cookie (FA)
- 1% Caramel Candy (FW)
- 1% Vanilla Swirl (TFA/TPA)
- 0.7% Nut Mix (FA)
- 0.35% Lemon Sicily (FA)
(30PG/70VG)
any tweaks since this post? looks promising! still waiting on some concentrates
I removed the EM, added 1% more Caramel and a little bit of TFA toasted Almond and it's pretty tasty. I think I will remove some of the Cinnamon Roll and add even more Caramel for a new attempt. I haven't messed with this one in a while because I went so crazy ordering new flavors.
Melonthol
- 9% Menthol (10%) I like menthol stronger but you could go 5-8% to maintain the cool.
- 8% Honeydew (TFA)
- 7% Bavarian Cream (TFA)
It's good immediately but the cream comes through more after a day or two. I haven't given it enough time to know what it's like after more than a week of steeping, though.
The honeydew isn't overpowering in this mix even though it's the main flavor you taste; it pairs nicely with the flavor of the menthol. It comes out as sort of a cool, green tasting, melon and electric berry (that's what the menthol tastes like to me here hah) and the bavarian cream gives it more full feeling with a bit of almost vanilla on the exhale.
Mad Melon Mix
- 2% TFA Honeydew
- 3% TFA Jackfruit
- 5% CAP Sweet Strawberry
- 5% CAP Double Watermelon
- 0.75% INW Cactus
- 2% Citric Acid (10%)
A super yummy blend of melon. The cactus works as a sweetener here, the Citric Acid helps the fruits to pop a little bit more, and the jackfruit adds a hint of a tropical layer to everything.
I hope everyone enjoys!
Now I have to find somewhere to order Inawera stuff. This looks really tasty.
Would you say this is comparable to Monster Melons by Cuttwood?
Blurpleberry
- 6% Grape (CAP)
- 4% Blueberry Extra (TFA)
- 4% Strawberry & Cream (TFA)
- 1% Harvest Berry (CAP)
- 1% Sweet Cream (FW)
- 2% EM
(30PG/70VG)
Notes: Tastes great right away with the grape coming off dominant. After a day the grape steps back a little and the other flavors step forward. This is a sweet candy-like flavor but it is not overpoweringly sweet.
Wanted something other than my single flavors and I've been on a sweet flavor kick. I'm really digging this one. Yet, I think it could still use some tweaks. I'd love to get others input, what would you do different?
