Thanks for getting me started, here's some recipes in return
submitted about 11 years ago by PeterFunkenhausen

First and foremost, I wanted to extend a huge thank you to all the mad scientists contributing to this sub. I've been lurking here a month or so, sponging up tips, tricks, flavor descriptions and the like, slowing shaping myself into the ghetto mixologist I strive to be. After quite a bit of experimenting, I've come up with a few recipes that I'm pretty happy with. I figured what better way to give back than to post a few combinations back in hopes of paying it forward.

YAMMC (Yet Another Mother's Milk Clone)

This one is sort of a clone of a clone. My local shop has an excellent clone that I enjoyed almost exclusively before I started mixing my own. Unlike the other recipes I tried before arriving at this one, it's not quite as "strawberry forward" and has a nice maple/honey flavor towards the end.

  • Capella - Sweet Strawberry 5%
  • Capella - Vanilla Custard v2 3%
  • Capella - Vanilla Cupcake 2%
  • FA - Marshmallow 2%
  • FA - Honey 1%
  • Capella - Maple Syrup 1%
  • FA - MTS Vape Wizard 1%
  • Capella - Caramel 1%
  • Capella - Orange Creamsicle 5 drops/10mL
  • FA - Pear 2 drops/10mL

Apple Monster

Nice Apple Cinnamon combo, fits well with Fall being right around the corner, strong throat hit.

  • FA - Apple 5%
  • FA - Mad Fruit 4%
  • Capella - Hot Cinnamon 3%

Naked Beaches

Creamy, tropical umbrella drink.

  • FA - Vienna Cream 5%
  • Capella - Coconut 4%
  • Capella - Banana Split 3%
  • FA - Tutti Frutti 3%
  • FA - Mad Fruit 3%
  • FA - Vanilla Bourbon 2%
  • FA - Citrus Mix 2%
  • FA - MTS Vape Wizard 1%
  • FA - Honey 1%

Mouth Grape

Strong Grape flavor with a hint of sweet/tart flavor on the exhale.

  • Capella - Grape 10%
  • FA - Vanilla Bourbon 5%
  • FA - Marshmallow 3%
  • FA - Pear 2%
  • Capella - Energy Drink 2%

Raspberry Bastard

Chocolate Raspberry goodness, remind me alot of a jelly doughnut.

  • Capella - Raspberry 8%
  • Capella - Vanilla Custard v2 6%
  • Capella - Chocolate Glazed Doughnut 4%
  • Capella - Sweet Strawberry 2%
  • FA - MTS Vape Wizard 1%

Cherry Limeaid

Strong and tart Cherry Lime flavor with a hint of Ginger Ale.

  • FA - Black Cherry 7%
  • FA - Tahity Lime 5%
  • Capella - Lemon Lime 2%
  • FA - Cola 5 drops/10mL
  • Capella - Gingerbread 2 drops/10mL

Clown Killer

Tobacco on the inhale, chocolate sweetness on the exhale.

  • FA - Cuban Supreme Tobacco 5%
  • FA - Irish Cream 4%
  • Capella - Milk Chocolate Toffee 2%
  • FA - MTS Vape Wizard 1.5%
  • FA - Whiskey 1%

Mime Killer

Just out of curiosity, what PG/VG ratio did you mix these at? I tend to like things on the lighter flavor side and rarely ever go above 6-7% with FA flavors in any juice I mix. Almost all of these are tons more than I would dream of using.

Not doubting or anything just curious :-).

Thanks for the feedback. 40/60 PG/VG is where I settled in. I've found that I definitely like bold flavors. I wouldn't consider any of these on the lighter side. For me, I like my vape to hang around in my mouth and nose for a little while after exhale.

Haha ok that makes sense!. I may try a couple of these in the coming weeks and report back a comparison of your percentages vs lower percentages. Just curious. I've never gone high on FA but that's not to say it can't be done and be amazeballZ!

I notice you using a lot of MTS Vape Wizard. Have you tried the recipes with and without it? What do you find it brings to the recipes?

I haven't tried much in the way of side-by-side comparisons without it yet, but its definitely on the list. It seems to help smooth out the recipes I use it in, which is basically anything that isn't 'fruit' as its main flavor. Honestly I use it because I happen to have a 30mL bottle. It seems like it just rounds mixes out, but that could just be a placebo too.

I totally lucked my way into this one. I had initially purchased that Cuban Supreme to try my hand at a few flavors for a coworker. After a full day steep, I gave it a sample and was super surprised. I'm really not that fond of tobacco flavors but this was really good.

Tobacco flavors change a lot with time. How long have you let it steep? Sometimes they can become extraordinarily strong after 4-6 weeks.

So far, it's been about 10 days on my tester. I noticed a huge change in the tobacco after the first few days, but so far it seems to have calmed down. I only put together about 10mL of it to test, but at the rate in which I consume Tobacco flavors (slim to none) I'd expect it to last. Making a note to check this one in another month or so and will report back.
