First timer trying to save money

Hey everybody

I always hate jumping into a new sub asking noob questions, but it's how I learned about vaping, so here goes.

I've recently been spending upwards of $50-$60 a week on ejuice and it's getting a bit out of hand. I decided to try my hand at some DIY juice so I bought a couple things to start. I didn't buy much because I'm just experimenting at the moment.

I bought 500 ml bottle of 6mg/mL nictoine base (http://www.nudenicotine.com/product/100-vg-nicotine-base/) (30/70 pg/vg) and a few random flavors from Flavor West (DIY Juice). I guess I'm trying to figure out really how much flavoring goes into a 15 ml, 30 ml bottle and if I need to dilute the nicotine base any more. I already vape 6mg, so that's why I bought it. I'm really not looking to do anything complicated. Just want to be able to reduce my juice costs and maybe mess around with some flavors for personal/friend use.

Appreciate any advice you guys can offer.

You're going to have to vape that base straight to get 6mg. Fortunately it should be cheaper so you can just vape more if you need to for a nic fix.

That's fine, I can deal with 4-5 mg, whatever I get once I add flavoring.

Use this calculator, enter all your numbers and it will tell you the amount of flavor to add http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php

You're on your way to a great start! Everyone here is really good at chiming in for recipes; maybe you can post a few of the flavorings you'd like to use for some public recommendations??

Thanks for the love btw <3

Anytime, read some great stuff about you guys... plus I wanted to get my order in before the High Holidays!

Anyway, I only bought a few flavors so far. Blueberry, Havana Tobacco, Van custard (always weary about this one), peanut butter and chocolate. Only 7.5 ml's of all just to play with. I had this flavor once from another shop that was a blueberry cigar flavor, and it was INSANE! So that's the first one I want to try and replicate. I plan to get some other flavors, but for now this should be a good start.

EDIT: Also, since I bought the 6mg/ml base, I don't have to dilute it, right? I can just pretty much add flavor? I'm not really trying to mess with higher concentrated nicotine.

Pick out a couple recipes and buy the flavoring for those recipes. Different flavoring brands will require very different amounts of flavoring. Flavourart, for instance, usually averages .5% - 5% total. Others will need 10% - 20%. It's also more cost effective to use 100mg nic. I've been on the same 120 ml bottle now for about two months.

Yeah I guess I can see that, but since this is my first try at this, I'll obviously have some tweaks to make. Thanks for the advice.

I just ordered a 500ml bottle, my first bottle went fast - 50ml @100mg. Dang Kayfuns. :)

Flavor west percentages are all about 15% flavoring with a few needing more or less. That should be a good starting point for you to jump in
