Best/cheapest website for flavorings?
submitted about 11 years ago by jordanstaystrue

I recently started making my own juices naively ordering all my supplies from myfreedomsmokes. I am really happy with there service and site but reading thru posts here I'm starting to get that they over charge in flavorings. Just looking for my best options, I'm all stocked up on PG/VG/Nicotine.

Bull city vapor is cheap and has a wide selection of flavors!

One thing I didn't add by mistake was TFA. If you are buying 120ml or larger, get it from TFA directly.

I apologize for not searching first, thank you

What about OneStopDIYShop? I was checking proces yesterday and their 4 oz TFA bulk sizes seemed to be very comparable or even better once you add the ECX 10% coupon code and account for shipping from TFA direct.

$9-18 for 4oz from OSDS... directly from TFA 4oz averages $8.00. Taking shipping and coupon into account it's probably pretty close. I prefer to order my flavors direct from the MFG though anytime I can.

If you think about it, it's fresher, and they are always in stock in on all flavors.

I'm going to run a side by side comparison for the $400 order I have queued up on TFA now though and get back to you (almost all 4oz+ sizes).

The one convenience I see is that I could order all my FA and CAP from OSDS too (if they had what I needed in stock). Unfortunately, most of what I want from FA right now I only want in 10ml sizes which they don't carry (30ml only), and they are out of half of the Capella and LorAnn stuff that I have queued up.

So basically I have an order on TFA of $245.75 (if I exclude all of the flavors that OSDS doesn't have also). Put the exact same order together on OSDS and it comes to $329.35 after the 10% coupon..

TFA shipping is $26.25 for UPS ground (I'm in no rush) for a grand total of $272 where OSDS comes in @ $329.35.

Additionally if I ordered from OSDS, I'd still have to place a separate order from TFA directly for $110.50 for the 11 flavors that OSDS is either out of stock on or doesn't carry.

TFA is the cheapest when you register as wholesale... about $5.50- $9.00 per 4oz. FlavorWest is just as cheap but they charge about three times as much for shipping and its not worth making a small order.

Is there free shipping when you spend a certain amount on the tfa site?

I don't know

Not that I have ever seen, no. The weight adds up fast as you order more from them, especially the 4 ounce bottles or larger

Hey but if fits it ships right? They should use priority boxes to cut down shipping costs if they don't already.

TRIGGER WARNING: kinda unrelated, but...

I got my first round of DIY stuff from MFS. After a few months of mixing I'm really noticing how their nic is really peppery and detracting from my juices. Avoid this mistake.

Are you refrigerating your flavors? Some of my flavors turned peppery before I read they should be kept in glass and cold and dark.

Always.

I never refrigerate my flavorings and don't get a pepper taste from them. Pepper comes from nic.

If you look through my previous posts, you'll see that I commented on the same extreme peppery flavors in their Nic. I have 98% of a severely oxidized liter if anybody wants to buy it. Oh, and it was peppery from the moment I received/openened the bottle. :/

BTW, I reached out to them on their websote to report this and seek resolution. Their response was essentially "that's nornal!" and wouldn't help me at all. Never again...
