If we knew that it'd be a heck of a lot easier to make good flavorings.

Now, there are a few things that will make a flavoring taste bad, including, but not limited to:

  • Too little flavoring
  • Too much flavoring
  • Bad pH concentration
  • Bad combinations of flavors
  • Not enough steeping
  • Too much steeping (uncommon)

and so on.

Some of these you can fix with some simple things. The pH, for example, can be tested. Usually you want to be pretty neutral pH wise, so if it's alkaline, add some lemon juice.

The too much or too little flavoring can be helped by basing percentages off of known quantities. Places like http://e-liquid-recipes.com/ can be useful in this adventure.

Bad combinations is almost impossible to know except by trial and error. Same with the steeping.

but it is a stand alone flavour, and imo the nucleus has a very heavy and rich flavour production at dual coil 0.2 ohm, it outtakes the zenith, magma, stillare, plume veil, kraken, brass monkey imo. but flavour is good though but i want it to be more intense, and i am a 60% cloud chaser and 40 % flavour and my pg/vg ratio is 80 vg and 20 pg. butshould imake an 70 pg and 30 vg ?

Well, if you're a "60% cloud chaser and 40% flavor", wouldn't it then make sense to do 60/40 blend? VG will carry flavors but not as well as PG generally.

Almond sounds like a tough flavor to use on its own. It might be a bit sharp at higher percentages. Try complimenting it with something else that might round out its flavor. Maybe things that would compliment almond anyway, something roasty, nutty, bready, creamy or toasted marshmallow whatever.

Which almond are you using? I have LorAnn's Natural Almond as well as TFA Almond Amaretto. I'm not sure I have had any decent mixes that prominently feature either of them, but I'm not the patient type. I have used the amaretto in minute quantities with TFA Absinthe, but only to add some complexity.
