New Vanilla Cream Base
submitted about 11 years ago by Botboy141Gunner's Gold Gourmet E-Juice

So I mentioned earlier that I was working on a new cream base and had a few people asking for details. I've only let this one steep for about 36 hours but after several warming/cooling down sessions, top off and lots of shaking, I must admit, it's absolutely delicious.

Now, let me preface this by saying, I haven't mixed into it yet, but I have a TON of ideas. Everything from desserts, tobaccos, fruits maybe even citrus.

So glad I finally got this nailed down, 7th attempt only but damn I like it.

I should also add that it is an amazing standalone vape @ 10% as well. Put it this way, I've never had a predominately cream or custard (brand or DiY) be an ADV for me. I have a feeling I need to bulk order all of these flavors right now though cause this is just incredible to me.

Botboy141 Vanilla Cream Base

  • 25% PG
  • 5% Vanilla Custard V2 (CAP) - V1 works here as well
  • 15% Vanilla Swirl (TFA)
  • 10% French Vanilla Deluxe (TFA)
  • 10% Vienna Cream (FA)
  • 5% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TFA)
  • 5% Vanilla Custard (TFA)
  • 15% Bavarian Cream (TFA)
  • 10% Catalan Cream (FA)

If you wish to make it as just a standalone recipe, simply ignore the PG and slide a decimal point one digit to the left and you'll have an amazing recipe (check it out here)

The catalan cream adds an excellent hint of cinnamon and spice to round it all out making it a great stand alone vape. I'll start playing around with recipes by adding other flavors to this in the next few days (need to make a batch much larger than 5ml as I have a feeling that's going to get vaped standalone!

Enjoy Everyone!

Edit: Mixed 10% base 40/60 3mg and dripping @ .4ohm for the time being btw.

Looks great, shame I cant find TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream this side of the pond, I have FW's which I guess is very similar. Have you tried FW's?

Unfortunately I haven't. I doubt it would make a HUGE difference though.

Just got into DIY and I am from London. Which shop would you recommend for their quality flavours?

Also, I am looking for a cuban cigar flavouring but no luck yet

Every time I read one of your posts, I always end up adding a few more flavours to my shopping list!

I really enjoyed reading your post on the 'Use this flavour' thread where you talked about your process of developing a receipe. Just wondering if you follow the same kind of process when developing bases?

Nothing different but I have to have a purpose for it. Honestly, I was looking for a launching point for dessert flavors, the catalan cream in this makes it tough to use for fruits. But will be an excellent addition to Tobaccos and Desserts imo.

I just got into DIY and ordered up all the liquid necessities, plus some bottles and a scale. So far, the scale has been a bust (AWS unit off Amazon) but I'll keep trying with that. Either way, I made up this recipe as a base, 30 ml, then cut it with 50/50 PG/VG at a 10% ratio, 3mg, and it blew my mind. Very tasty stuff, thank you for posting OP!

You are extremely welcome. It's has been my ADV for a week, until today when I went for something a little sweeter, going back to it in a few minutes though :-). Mixed @ 15% Solution it's the exact same flavor profile just more prominent. I prefer my mixes a bit on the weak side so I can stomach them (hence my original recommendation of 10%)

I've settled on using this at 9%, but also tweaked it just a bit. I didn't have any TFA Custard so I had to mix up the 10% between the custards into 6.3% Cap Custard V2, then added 2.5% FA Vanilla Bourbon and 1.2% Cap Cinnamon Danish Swirl. My favorite vape is a vanilla cinnamon from a local place but they stopped making it (though now it's coming back) so I took all this on to replicate it. It's really good, really really good :) It has a slightly warmer cinnamon kick and I can't really explain what the Vanilla Bourbon did to it but I like it a lot :)

Ohhh, love the idea of adding vanilla bourbon. Will have to try that. I tried to keep the cinnamon note a bit lower in this (it gets some from the catalan cream) and I noticed when vaped @ higher power comes out a bit more.

Sounds fantastic, I'll try it your way in a few weeks once I get my next FA order in.
