Weekly 'Suggest a Recipe for my Flavors' Thread - Week of September 12, 2014

Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! If you are impatient and want to do this on your own, here are a couple of good links:

  • /u/daath has a nice website that has this functionality, but you will need to register to make it work. It is not very intuitive but if you work with it you can input your flavors and get a list of recipes that you can make. IMO this is the better site if you have the patience to make it work for you. Edit2: to get this to work, first set up an account. Then add your flavors to the stash (under my page / my flavor stash). hit save. Then go back to the front page and click the link next to the search field, "Search by flavor stash". You can select a couple of your flavors and recipes that have those will pop up.
  • This site has a nice big search button with just what you're looking for.

Happy Mixing!

Here's my list of flavours

The ones I'm not currently using in recipes (much) are:

  • Capella Cappuccino
  • Capella Waffle
  • Flavor West Banana Nut Bread
  • Flavor West Black Tea
  • Flavor West Dutch Apple Pie
  • Flavor West White Tea
  • Flavor West Cafe Coffee
  • Flavor West Bourbon

If anyone can work these with my other flavours I'd appreciate it.

Definitely do a banana black tea and a apple white tea.. Also a coffee bourbon would be a delicious idea.

Try 10-15% Blackberry with about 2% Lemon.

Try 5-8% blackberry with 5-8% Pomegranate. Thinj VC Black PomPom.

Can't find a good match for anything else.

Posted this before, but haven't gotten any feedback yet.

The flavor I want to work with is FW Apple Jacks. It is pretty good on its own, nothing earth shattering, but I feel like it could be great with....something...maybe I'm wrong. Anyone have any experience with this one? Any ideas on how to jazz it up? I have a lot of creams, fruits, usual suspects, and am not averse to making an order for more stuff. Thanks in advance!

Maybe some FA Fresh Cream?

Would definitely play up the whole breakfast cereal aspect.

Maybe add a bit of cinnamon to it? Like some TPA Cinnamon Sugar Cookie

It already has a fair cinammon component, but a bit more probably wouldn't hurt.

Cucumber Mint is good standalone @ 15%. Can add a little key lime to have some fun.

Not much else there that looks to mesh well for my personal tastes. Something brownie/coffee could be good though.

Irish cream + black tea + pomegranate 'may' work as well.

Oh and obviously Irish Cream + Coffee
