Any known "nasty" flavors here?
submitted about 11 years ago by RegularWhiteDude

I have purchased some less than stellar flavors from wizardslab. honey, graham cracker clear, hawwain drink were all pretty bad.

Am I making the same mistake with any of these?

Flavorwest double dutch chocolate is the nastiest flavor I have ever tried. Tastes like a mixture of shit, mud, and bitter chocolate.

Same here...absolute shit when I tried it....threw it in a drawer. Moved a month or so ago and found it, gave it a shot and it was pretty good (mixed almost a year ago)

Yeah, I really like TFA honey, maybe with a little green tea and mint.

Cappella cheese cake is very good. Also try out vanilla custard v2 from cappella.

Nothing wrong with TFA cheese cake taste spot on like cheese cake when mixed right. The LA cherry though...... That is pretty much worthless unless you like cough med cherry

I've tried TFA bavarian cream, TFA sweet cream, TFA vanilla custard, all of these creamy flavors tasted great. I don't see how they could be spot on with these cream flavors but screw up Cheescake, it just doesn't makes sense. I'm going to have to try TFA Cheescake for myself I guess.

The Capella's stuff looks good.

I've never had a use for TFA Smooth, I find it flattens eLiquid after a couple weeks.

The WL menthol is good.

TFA Blackberry is super strong, careful with that one.

thank you, good to know. I have heard good things about the smooth with tobacco flavors. Any experience with that, specifically?

Only with TFA RY4 Double.

I like TFA smooth in an absinthe mix that beats the shit out of me in its base form. Cuts the sharp edges a little and warms it up a bit. 1%.

DIY Flavor Shack: Blue Berry Muffin I cannot express how bad it was.

Graham cracker clear by itself?

It's an essential part of the grandmaster clone on here. It's pretty good in that.

That is none of your business. I mean, no. Or yes.

What's wrong with it?

LA-Orange Cream -always tastes burnt, never had any luck. Use TFA -Orange Cream instead in sparse amounts I also prefer TFA-Cola to LA-Cola. I do like LA-Banana Cream and LA-Cherry.

TFA-Kona is interesting, use sparingly (get a small amount) you will also use less TFA-Smooth than you think you will.

I could not make anything decent with Kona; ended up throwing the flavor away it was so bad for me.

1 points

by narfig_agarabout 11 years ago

I use it in drops to reinforce sweet coffee flavours. I'm still on the same 5ml I bought last year, so that's pretty close to throwing it away.

Dammit... I have a dram of LA Orange Cream that I haven't touched yet going to make something delicious with

i have found that capella's french vanilla v2 is an excellent addition to any custard or cheesecake type juice. however, i only use 2%. i tried it with like 5% and the juice had a foul aftertaste.

The tfa cinnamon is one I see that could potentially be bad. As long as it is the ethyl alcohol based version and not the pg version you'll be good. It's the best cinnamon out there IMO. Tastes just like big red. The PG version though is some of the nastiest shit I've ever had. I dumped out a whole 4 oz bottle of it because I accidentally ordered the wrong one.

Be careful with that TFA fruit circles. Its okay when steeped but at 10% fresh its like lemon pledge in your lungs.

I can think of a few different ways to make it happen without any knowledge of reddit specific APIs.

Somebody else has actually done it I'm sure, and google can probably turn up a couple of copy paste examples.
