My banana cream (TFA) is very clear in the bottle. However, when mix up a juice, the banana cream always turns it very cloudy. Does anybody know what causes this?
I very rarely use nicotine and my juice with banana cream is cloudy also?
I am guessing you are using plastic bottles? Often time banana flavors will attack the plastic which causes the cloudiness. I only use glass syringes and bottles when dealing with ripe banana.
No I use glass bottles. However my syringes are plastic. I've heard ripe banana will melt syringes, but I am using the actual Banana Cream flavor from TFA. Haven't had any problem with melted syringes :)
I'm starting to not believe that banana ripe will melt syringes. When I mixed juice the other day I filled a 1 ml syringe with ripe banana while I was mixing and just let it sit there till I was done. About 30 minutes later I didn't notice any change to the syringe at all. Or the plunger.
Oddly this doesnt happen every time. I vape a DIY Banana Cream Pie, just add some graham cracker to yours, and it seems every other bottle turns cloudy. I have made appx 50 4oz bottles, in glass using a glass pipette for measurement, and appx 50% turn cloudy. Some with nic and some without.
Im not at all sure what the deal is i just wanted to let you know that it happens to others. Sorry i couldnt be more helpful.
Interesting. I've noticed that when I give my juice a hot bath to speed up the steeping process, the cloudiness dissipates until the juice cools back down.
I have tried several different ways of mixing the liquids together and none seem to matter. Ill make some tonight and watch it as it cures in my ultrasonic cleaner. The last batch i made was perfectly clear, the batch before that was cloudy and both times i did everything as close to the same as possible. This question has been bothering me since the first couple batches. I know it doesnt affect the flavor but damn i need to know! hehe
That's interesting. I use tfa banana cream in a bunch of different recipes, mostly 50/50, and I've never noticed cloudiness.
Do you have any ripe banana recipes you could share? Sorry to hijack
