Ry recipe update
submitted about 11 years ago by dougstoner

I posted a while back asking for help with my attempts to clone indigo's ry. Well thanks to you guys, I have an amazing recipe I wanted to share. After trying to find good tobacco bases, I finally found a line that tastes really good. It's inawera. I bought a bunch of blends, but specifically, there tobacco symphony is absolutely delicious. I mixed up a batch of 5 percent by itself and was blown away. I mixed up another batch with 5 percent tobacco symphony and tfa double ry4 at 1 percent. I let it steep for about 3 days on top of my Comcast box and it's simply amazing. My buddy was blown away and had me mix him up a batch. Also, inawera's vanilla pipe tobacco at 5 percent is delicious too. If you haven't tried them yet, you really need to. They have one blend called Havana that smells so good, but haven't mixed it up yet. Thanks for all the tips, as I've found my tobacco base, and plan on experimenting a bunch more.

Just be careful with that INW @ 5% and RY4D @ 1%.

How it tasted after three days tells you very little about how it might taste after two weeks.

TFA RY4D changes dramatically after 2 weeks of cure time.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't know if I can have a batch sit around that long without going through it. I'll have to make extra batches and see how it turns out.

Yeah just mix a 15ml or something to sit for a few weeks.

When I make a vape that's instantly good, I always mix another 15ml to let sit in the closet for a couple weeks. I then mix myself enough of the instantly good to last a week and repeat when running low.

Just need to know if it'll last or not (at least for my purposes).
