This is likely a really dumb question, but how do you measure with syringes, exactly? Do you measure your amount from the end pointed rubber tip on the plunger, or above that from the lip of the rubber tip of the plunger? Hopefully that makes sense.
you can do both, but you have to guesstimate the head space of the needle when measureing upright. but really you should turn it upside down, draw in any that is in the needle, and then compress the compress the plunger to get the most exact measurement.
But when I'm throwing large batches, i just measure right side up and try to guesstimate any head space in the needle.
that's lots of work when you can use Dyno lable writer in seconds lol.
This whole batch took less than 10 minutes to make the templates for.
I'd be interested in seeing pictures of what you made with the Dymo.
I don't have photos but being in IT these lable writers are a common thing. I use them for labeling wires and even outlets. The cheap one has yellow or white and they are glossy finished you just flip it on type in what you want and hit print and a sticker prints out the same size as yours.
As do I. My workcenter has several top end Brady's in constant use. They're not cheap if you want the good ones: $900-1000 ea for the TLS 2200 packages, eg.
Regardless, I doubt many guys here have cable labelers, hence this HOW TO with a common $50 labeler. You're perfectly welcome to not use it should you find it beneath you.
If I owned a label printer I don't believe I would need to know how to make labels.
