TFA Pineapple v. Cap Golden Pineapple
submitted about 11 years ago by ThePunkWay

Anyone tried both? I've used the TFA pineapple extensively. It's a very fake candy-like flavor, but good in what I use it for., which is something called citrus barfight. 9% TFA pineapple, 9% TFA Citrus Punch, a touch of sour to bring out the fruit.

How does the golden pineapple compare to the TFA?

Alternately, does anyone know a source where I can get a smaller bottle than 4 oz of golden pineapple, just to try it?

Cheers.

Been using both FA Pineapple and Jungle Flavors Pineapple in a tropical blend I created. Using both get's a nice profile.

I take back the source question, not I'm just looking for a comparison.

Golden pineapple is more sweet and less tart.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm putting a small bottle on the order to try out, I've heard great things about Cap.

If you're looking for a sweet pineapple. Like a Jolly Ranger mixed with a gummy bear, try LA Pineapple instead.

Tried LA Pineapple, absolutely hated it. Didn't taste sweet to me at all, tasted almost medicinal. Strange how different people taste things differently.

I haven't used either of them on their own, but I've used them both in the same Pina Colada recipe.

The pina colada I made with TFA pineapple tasted exactly like a Fantasia pina colada hookah pen. A very nice flavour, but too generic. It tastes like the pina colada you'd get out of a $2 canned drink at the supermarket. The pineapple was one of the most noticeable flavours in this recipe.

The pina colada I made with Cap Golden Pineapple was much, much better. The only three flavours changed were: swapped TFA pina colada for Cap pina colada, swapped TFA pinapple for Cap pineapple, added Cap Sweet Guava. The pineapple definitely stood out more, and had a richer flavour. This recipe tasted less like canned frat fuel and more like an actual drink made with freshly squeezed fruit juices. The pineapple didn't stand out as much; it was still noticeable, but it worked better as an ingredient in the mix.

Based on the flavour differences between the two juices and the smell of the concentrates, I would say that Cap Golden Pineapple does deliver better; has a stronger, more authentic flavour; and plays better with other flavours in a recipe.

I am a big fan of pineapple vapes and the fruit in general. I tried all the pineapples and was never really satisfied until I found Inawera pineapple. Hands down the most realistic pineapple out there. Use about 5% with 5% Capella coconut and you got my current favorite vape.

Where do you get it from? Direct from vendor? Pineapple is definitely a favored vape flavor.

As far as I know this is the only US vendor that sells Inawera pineapple.

I'll give it a shot, thanks.

As a standalone, what percentage do you start at?

Try TFA pineapple at 15% with 5% EM mixed in full VG on a dripper. Great flavor

I have those things, I'll give it a shot. I'd imagine it's sort of a sickly sweet (but in a good way) pineapple.

I've also been meaning to try pineapple mixed with either brown sugar or honey, sort of Brazilian style.

I prefer the TFA version to the Capella version myself, but ive never had them as standalone flavors.

I find it's the closest real pineapple flavor I can get
