Toasted Marshmallow - Who does it best?
submitted about 11 years ago by [deleted]

So recently, SpaceJam released a new juice that is a mixture of Toasted Marshmallow, Peanut Butter, Caramel and Cream.

I have yet to taste it, so I am going into this blind. I mixed the following:

 7% TFA Toasted Marshmallow
 3% TFA Peanut Butter(Needs bumped)
 3% TFA Caramel Original(Needs bumped)
 3% TFA Sweet Cream

While its pleasing, I'm not getting enough of the toasted marshmallow. Who, in your opinions, makes the best toasted marshmallow flavoring?

Thanks in advance. By all means, take the recipe above and try and spin in. Let me know what you can come up with :)

Toasted Marshmallow (TFA) is just amazing. Never bothered trying another.

What percentage do you start at?

I'll second the tfa. I usually use it between 2 and 4% more as a background note than keeping it front and center.

At 7% the toasted marshmallow night be muting it self. That being said PB and CO are both very strong flavors as SweetCream can be I'd try removing the sweet cream and going with 6% TM marshmallow already has a creamy flavor to it you might not need the sweet cream

I prefer FW toasted marshmallow over tpa. Too much tends to get kind of maple syrupy though

Wasn't aware FW made one. I'll have to check that out. Thank you

One of the biggest things I learned during the juice making process is sometimes less is more. If you use too much, you can lose the overall profile of the flavoring you're using. Cut that percentage of TM in half and give it another shot.

Caramel Original tastes like air. TFA's "Caramel Flavor" has a baked/toasted caramel flavor that would go well with the marshmallow. 5%+ in that recipe and at least 2 weeks of age.

I thought the only two they sell are caramel and caramel candy

Caramel Original: Tastes like air. YMMV.

Caramel Candy: Excellent, like the name says

Caramel Flavor: Tastes like baked caramel

All 3 are on their site.
