I have been mixing my own Mount baker vapor strawberry juice and its been great. I assumed they bought all their flavors from Flavor West, so i purchased an 8 oz bottle from Favor West to get out of buying the tiny 15ml bottles from MBV. When i mixed this flavor it is very weak and perfume tasting, I'm thinking now that this may not be their vendor. Does anyone know who they buy their flavor from? I cant find another strawberry i like and want to mix large quantities of it also tried TFA and it taste about the same as Flavor West any help would be appreciated.
MBV uses FW exclusively, from what I can tell. I use the FW strawberry in a few of my recipes.
FW strawberry definitely has a steep time. When first mixed, it's perfumey and awful. After a week, it's good. After 2 weeks, it gets to be very good and just seems to get better from there.
I thought MBV used mostly TFA flavors? Was it the plain Strawberry from TFA you tried?
Anyways, not sure what they use, but in my hunt for a decent strawberry, I've found that TFA Strawberry (ripe) and Capella's Sweet Strawberry are both decent. I use TFA's in lots of recipes. Needs 2-3 days to settle/blend/steep.
A buddy used to make an amazing Strawberryz vape, and now I have to try and figure out how he did it, lol.
Yes it was plain strawberry. I read Capella's was good i haven't tried it yet it is next on the list thanks for the input.
