Hey guys! Would like to try some unorthodox flavors but I feel like they may require some unorthodox methods... And will these types of flavors have an inherent saltiness to them? Or would I need some kind of additive, (I've heard some people using a saline solution, but I worry that might weaken the vapor production and throat hit.) Any help would be appreciated!
Also, any impressions of different brands of these types of flavors would also be a big help...
Really would like to try some stuff like a cream cheese bagel with grav lox, (is there a vapable dill flavor?) or BLT type vape.
TFA Bacon/Deli Bacon are the only ones I've owned, and both smelled like the funeral pyre of bacon, fueled by burning tires. I spilled a few drops of bacon in my mixing room and felt like gagging every time I went in there for a week.
Not going to tell you what to do with your life, but I threw that shit straight into the trash. (Gently, so I didn't break the bottles)
Just gonna say, saline in ejuice sounds like a bad idea. That salt won't vaporize, it'll stay behind hanging out in your coils.
Yeah, I've heard that could be a problem, but I've also heard of people saying they use it... I don't know how different it would be from, say, using vanilling crystals or ethyl maltol which also seem like they would remain un vaporized. Then again, maybe that's a lot of what "gunks up" coils anyway. Flavor components that don't vaporize, but are partially dispersed in the vaporization process.
Incorrect. Sorry. Many people use saline in their mixes.
Just because people use it doesn't mean it's good for the coils. I wouldn't exactly want particulate salt being left in my coils. I can tell you for a fact that the salt in the solution will not vaporize, and it's the same reason that you can desalinate water by boiling it off.
I recently made a "Spicy Hawaiian Pizza" using Pizza, Jalapeno and Sea Buckthorn (a less sweet pineapple-ish flavor), all from TFA. The result - it tastes just like a spicy pizza with pineapple! But, vaping a pizza? This is a strange experience. So far, I have found that it is a nice vape while drinking beer. Otherwise, not so much. Also ordered another odd one, Dill Pickle, along with the aforementioned flavors. It is a nice, fresh vape which I enjoy from time to time. But remember, personal taste is a verrry subjective thing...
What kind of percentages would you recommend for pizza? Not a fan of the Hawaiian style pizza, but a bacon pizza would be cool. I'm actually expecting to go for the full flavor to try it out, but end up dialling it down pretty low, so its less like a pizza experience and more like a strong facefull of walking into a pizzeria.
Honestly chicken and waffles from TFA isnt bad in a cheap atomizer. You can definitely taste the chicken and maple syrup. It was horrible on a dripper, Maybe we just used to much flavor, but it was pretty spot on. Reminds me of the flavoring they used on the chicken and waffle lays potato chips.
I started at 6% Pizza, but it was a bit much imho; gonna try 4% next time.
"...so its less like a pizza experience and more like a strong facefull of walking into a pizzeria." - Love this description! I would suggest as little as 2 to 3% for that effect.
Right on. It looks like I'm going to end up postponing my exotic flavor experiments due to insufficient funds this month, but I will probably try it at 5% to start based on your description. I want to get the full pizza flavor, but like I was saying I don't know if full-flavored pizza is a good regular vape. But for when I want something with just a bit of flavor I think that pizza might be a good one.
