Would these be good for measuring ripe banana and other caustic juices?

Yes but two for $4.25 I can pay justify myself paying that much just for two. I got 100 for $12.00 from here

I bought some 3ml glass syringes and they've been great except for the fact that they're too big to measure out for small test batches. I think I will order some of these. (I don't thing xxdemonic realized these were glass in his/her response)

EDIT: ordered, but this is kind of a bummer "Estimated delivery between Friday, Sep. 5 and Wednesday, Oct. 15"

The point indeed. I'm finding more and more flavorings that are not plastic safe like TFA pear. I'm thinking all glass all the time.

I think glass all the time is too far for me. TFA pear didn't cause me an issue, but TFA Pineapple sure does.

Man I just had to break up with TFA pineapple completely. Makes all my juice cloudy and sketch looking.

Ha! Yeah. China does seem far away :)

I did order them. I'm impulsive like that. My 3ml came from China and were here pretty quick. BTW, they draw and push fine so I hope these work as well.

So, I got them awhile ago but just now was able to use them mixing. They seal great, draw a little hard, but they're manageable. My complaint would be that it is damned hard to read the measurements. They are printed in some kind of light and fine amber. You have to hold them up next to some dark background. If this were being used with a dark flavor, you'd totally be guessing.
