IDK if im late to the party, or if im going to become an instant DIY_juice celebrity but, behold borosilicate glass syringes!

If you search for "glass syringe" on eBay you can find everything from 5x1ml to 1x50ml for around $10 delivered. And even larger sizes for not much more.

Borosilicate & autoclavable? Maybe not. But more than sturdy enough for vape use.

Slightly more expensive, but they have larger sizes and the accuracy / increments are better.

interesting. only reason why i liked the air-tites is the all glass luer, seems like they would be very easy to soak and clean. probably not any hard with the one you linked though.

I thought that Grainger gave a discount for any purchases in groups of three or more. I am off work right now from a surgery, I will look into it when I get back.(that and discount might make it possible to mail some out cheaply)

Nice. Thanks for sharing. I have been wanting some glass ones that weren't outrageously priced. Have you used any yet? My biggest problem with the plastic ones are that after a couple uses, the measurements wear off from cleaning. Think this would be the case for the glass ones?

A coat of clear nail polish over the measurement printing before first use will keep it from wearing off as fast. :)

Thanks for the tip. Funny that I use it over my bottle labels and never thought to use it on the syringes. Great idea!

I saw a different brand that I believe cost a bit more and the markings were all embossed into the glass or something.

I can't find the link however.

No advantage to using these aside from environmental, and eventually economical. They just don't slide as smoothly, especially when they are dry. In addition they aren't really made to be pulled one handed like disposables are, so I guess if you lubed it up first and were only making a couple bottles at a time, you might want to buy a 5mL and 10mL to play with.

Still intriguing, and it would be nice to not create a bunch of garbage throwing disposables away. and they should be very easy to clean if your switching flavors

I found the biggest issue was putting them back together or taking them apart when they were dry. I'm sure there's some sort of trick, but it just wasn't worth it because I couldn't work it one-handed even when it was lubed up (that's what she said).
