Green Tea Blends
submitted about 11 years ago by Botboy141Gunner's Gold Gourmet E-Juice

OK. So I'm finally branching out a bit with my DiY. Made my first tea a couple days ago and I'm not sure what to think about it. First time I've used a tea and I think it turned out fantastic but was hoping to get some feedback.

I call it GHATCH

  • 3% Cheery Blossom (TFA)
  • 2% Green Apple (TFA)
  • 3% Green Tea (TFA)
  • 1% Honeydew (TFA)

I gave it one hot water bath and then let it cure for 3 days. The hot water bath alone was probably enough.

Usually I'd post this under the monthly recipe thread but with the new one going up in the next couple days I'd assume, I figured it was likely to be overlooked there.

I'd be very interested in how people find this. I have a Green Tea mix that I made a couple of weeks (or maybe a month) back; it's been steeping since then and the green tea has yet to subside to a tolerable level. No matter what happens, all I taste is green tea.

I was honestly really surprised how good this was. Everything seemed pretty well mixed and all flavors are present nearly perfectly. Probably the first time I mixed something and was content with it the first time I vaped it, hence the post asking for feedback. It usually takes me 10-20 blends to reach what I'm trying to get to ...

I should also say, from what I've read, you never really want more than 3-4% green tea in your recipe. Not sure how much you did but that may be the problem.

Add a tiny amount to any fruit flavor, and it really just rounds it out. Try it sometime. I'm talking about .5%

I like it with some mango though, nothing else needed

I would've done blueberry instead of green apple, but that's just me.

I wanted a tart/sour note with flavor. It worked well. Give it a try !
