...when I realized I had forgotten to buy coconut milk. Wtf? This is a Diy e juice sub, why am I posting about my fucking Thai noodles? Well, because in a moment of inspiration, I remembered that I had TFA coconut extra chilling in the ol' vapestation. Mixed two drops of that strong as shit stuff into some regular cream and voila! Diy coconut milk! Since I knew that it wasn't real coconut milk I could tell that the noodles were a bit "perfumey" but my wife had no idea and even commented how good they were. Next up, Saturday morning french toast with a couple drops of cinnamon roll mixed in...
Try Capella's flavors in your coffee. French vanilla and vanilla custard both worked great.
LOL I was just gonna post this. I ran out of my regular french vanilla creamer the other day. Threw in a little milk and a couple drops of CAP french vanilla. Perfect.
I've also tried a couple drops of TFA dulce de leche in some homemade waffle batter. They turned out great!
A++ for ingenuity. What kind of Thai noodles? I'm a Thai food lover, and I'm pretty sure Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Lard Na etc do not use coconut milk. Thai Curries use it though.
Yeah, it's not a real Thai recipe. I just usually make up a sauce with some peanut butter, coconut milk, various spices, then stir fry some veggies and chicken, toss it all together topped off with some chopped peanuts and a squeeze of lime and call it "Thai noodles." Nothing authentic, but my family, including the kids, love it. Me too.
