So since I started DIYing I've had a few friends request flavors, mostly clones, but one of my buddies wanted a huckleberry flavor with a smooth but strong berry inhale and a creamy exhale. Took me a couple tries, but I've found what's by far my best original recipe to date. Give it a shot, lemme know what you think.. Amazing right out of the gate, gonna mix up some more and let it steep. Don't be worried about the low percentages, the huckleberry is strong as tits and the rest is really just there to pull it down to earth and flesh it out.

Edit: After going through about 6 mls in the last half hour, I've decided that right after mixing, the exhale isn't quite as creamy as I want. Hopefully steeping will give it just a little more creaminess, I might have to bump the Bavarian Cream up to 1,5% or 2% on my next revision.

HuckleF%$# V1

All flavors TPA

2.5% - Huckleberry
1% - Strawberry (ripe)
2% - Blueberry (wild)
0.5% - Coconut Extra
2.5% - Malted Milk Extra
1% - Bavarian Cream

Anything you think would be good substitued for the coconut? I despise coconut. I feel like even at .5% I would find a way to taste it.

caramel candy might smooth out the egdes a bit in place of the coconut

Do you think cotton candy could work? I mean it just gives it a sweet taste. Or maybe .5% koolada?

I'm just starting DIY and only have two recipes down pat to where I like them how I have them. So learning how different Flavors interact.

Absautely, the cotton candy will make it a little sweeter and maybe try a couple of drops per 5 ml and go from there. I actually havnt used koolada all that much but personally like it with more fruity flavors but everyone has different preferences so my advice would be to give it a try in small amounts, that way its not a big loss.

I agree with the cotton candy, although I don't know if that would sweeten, and I wasn't particular going for something very sweet, so personally I'd replace it with koolada.

That sounds quite tasty! I haven't tried the huckleberry flavor from TFA yet- how is the after-taste?

There's almost no lingering taste if you use it at low percentages, the aftertaste on the exhale isn't bitter like I was expecting it would be a little, but from what I've read and what I've played with I'd never go over 3% with it, it's SO GODDAMN STRONG. And from what I've done you've gotta have some kind of cream to pull it down or it's really... bitey? That's not quite right, but y'know what I mean.
