I've noticed that most folks tend to use a total of about 15 - 25 percent flavoring in their juices. Me? I use 5% in most of mine. Total. Like 3% One Flavor, 2% another. And that's it.
Am I the only one?
Not the only one, everyone has different palettes. That being said, a lot of it also comes down to what brand of flavor concentrates you are using. FA and CAP tend to be a good bit stronger than TFA and LA. Additionally, certain flavors are much stronger than others in general.
I have some juices mixed at 2% total flavor, others at 40%. I'd say 90% of what I mix is somewhere between 12-15% total flavor.
For my palette 15-20 works good except for tobacco flavors then its 1-3%. Everyone's tastes are different when it comes flavors.
Thats the problem. I just quit smoking cigarettes (day 19), so im not sure if its just bland because of that or if it is actually bland. So I err on the side of conservation. Oddly enough I ttusted my tastebuds more when I smoked!
My taste buds changed dramatically after the first three months of not smoking. Recipes I loved when I first started, have become disgusting. So your taste buds will take a few weeks to get back to normal.
