What flavors from TFA are must haves? Stand-alone, or for mixing
Cola and/or Cola Syrup
RY4 Double
Juicy Peach
Double Chocolate(Clear)
Caramel (Original)
Kentucky Bourbon
Coconut Extra
Bavarian Cream
Cola is a flavor I've been having some trouble with myself. Any tips you might have as to how to work with it?
Edit - Gorramn autocorrect....
I had good luck with Cola and Cola Syrup from the get go. I mixed them both at 10% flavor, 70 pg/30 vg, 6 mg. I prefer the Cola to the Cola Syrup, but only slightly. I went ahead and mixed both of them together into one juice, and I'll be damned if I can't put this stuff down. I steeped/aged it for 2 weeks.
The flavor is more reminiscent of the old timey fountain soda than it is of Coca Cola. Lots of spiciness and kick to it.
Kudos for the Firefly reference. ;)
Both from tfa I'm assuming? I've tried their cola and find it overpowering. Haven't gone back to it for a while though. Do have a couple ideas from when I was toying with it before but never tried them out.
And thanks for getting it! Then again, this IS reddit.... XD
Everyone's tastes are different, so this question will vary quite a bit. What sorts of mixes are you planning on making?
Mostly fruity and creamy/dessert flavors
Well, the fruits will be the easier part to figure out. As for everything else...
Bavarian cream
Sweet cream
Toasted marshmallow
Graham cracker (clear)
Caramel (original) (tfa)
Whipped cream
Gummy bear/candy
Chocolate (there are many options, I'm partial to bittersweet from tfa myself)
Hazelnut (surprisingly versatile)
Peanut butter
Malted milk
Custard v2 (cappella's) (not used this myself but I've heard rave reviews)
Bubblegum
Most of these are background/supporting flavors though. Many/most of them are best in smaller concentrations and mixed together with a fruit as the main attraction.
Pear, honeydew, strawberry, strawberry ripe, bavarian cream, peanut butter, double chocolate, coconut extra, menthol (crystals), graham cracker clear are my favorites that I always order. Edit: Also koolada is pretty good with fruit flavors.
but you have to decide what you want to make and what your favorite flavors might be - everyone's taste buds like something different.
