So I tried to get some vg in a rush and grabbed both of these from the same spot. Is the first aid skin protectant just regular glycerine? It just says 99.5% usp glycerin

Yes, as long as glycerin is the only ingredient.

Glycerin is used for many things-they have to market it as something useful.

Never looked at vg at CVS, but I'm starting to believe it when people say there are only two manufacturers of vg....those bottles and lids look the exact same as the ones at Wal-Mart, and at 177mls, are the exact same volume (and 177 would be a very strange coincidence).

It's almost like they just fill the bottles and then whatever store it's going to, it gets the appropriate label.

I just found out from another thread that CVS glycerin is just rebranded Humco. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same case with Rite Aid.
