Is this usable for DIY ejuice?
submitted about 11 years ago by Givemeallyourcats

20 LITRES 25 KG VEGETABLE GLYCERINE EP/USP FOOD/COSMETIC GRADE

I'm trying to get into making my own e-juice and want to see how much it will cost me and where I can buy all my materials before I start diving into it.

Is this okay to use in making your own ejuices?

Yes that is usable, but it may lose freshness before you can vape all of that.

Actually, according to this link I found, someone stated his bottle said it had a expiration date of 3 years approx. But I guess keeping it in a dark cool place won't hurt :)

That would be like if you never opened it or exposed it to light. Lets say you poured smaller workable bottles and stored the rest in the freezer. Or better yet split it among mason jars and freeze those. I just know a buddy of mine that makes juice constantly had his gallon start to get weird, especially when its half air in the bottle

If you do buy it, split it up into smaller containers and freeze what you don't use, same for your nicotine base. I only use vg bases including nicotine, I have my extra in the freezer when ever I run out I take it out run it under water in the sink and it's ready to use.

I don't think there is a "freshness" to VG. Like I don't believe it will spoil.

Good question.
