We need an app for ejuice!

Is it just me that think an app for android and ios, where people submit their diy flavour to a server, and then you have the ability to comment and rate it. And most importantly is that you can type in your flavours available and it will seek out what you can mix. Wouldn't that be the dream?

I use the site regularly to store my recipes.

However, an Android/iOS mobile app version of the site would be absolutely awesome.

I know I can view the mobile site via my browser, but it's not the same experience as a dedicated app that I could launch, be logged in, and have it automatically formatted to fit my screen.

I agree that it wouldn't be easy, nor cheap if you were to hire outside help.

You can offer both a 'lite' (with ads) and a full(ad-less) paid version of the app to recoup the development costs.

I, and I'm sure several other users that have hundreds of recipes stored on your site, would gladly fork over a few bucks for such an app.

I use Digital Ocean, I like them - Fairly cheap and pretty stable.

Liquix .. It's a paid app, but it does everything you suggested except find recipes you can make based on flavor.

99juices.com is pretty cool. You can make a shortcut to a webpage as an icon and it becomes an "app". It has the feature to find recipes based on your juice.

not enough money in it. Unless someone does it for love then good luck. I started one and decided I can use http://dot1ml.com/ on my ipad or iPhone so I quit caring.

In order for ads to pay you have to have literally tens of thousands of downloads, and tens of thousands of daily users. For this app to be anything good it will take weeks if not months of development. How much is that worth? Would you pay $4.99 for such an app? There are like 6500 people that sub to this forum, the reality is a few hundred downloads at best. I make apps for a living. this one would not even break even. it would be a losing proposition. Why I said someone has to either love it, or want it so bad for themselves, or use it as a learning experience.
