I'd think that if you wanted to get good labels one way around it would be to design a template then just bring it into Kinkos or something or find someone that can do vinyl work, have a few pages printed out and be set for awhile, either create separate templates for each flavor or have a generic one that you can just write on.
Was thinking of going the vinyl route myself, create a generic label and have it printed on clear vinyl, if I wanted to be fancy and not have my crap handwriting on it I could print out the name of the flavor and put it on the back of the label in the right spot before putting the label on.
Yeah, this is cool, but for myself (and I'd assume a decent amount of other people) its too expensive. Especially when I can get 750 labels for the printer I already have for under $10 off amazon
