Higher VG content? (I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it)
submitted about 11 years ago by [deleted]

I make my juice at 65PG/35VG and it has always been fine for me. I see a lot of people nowadays going crazy over 50/50 juice. I can't figure out why. What will that extra bit of VG do for me?

I may consider trying my hand at a 50/50 batch if it will mellow out a potent flavor or enhance the sweetness w/o using a flavor for sweetening.

EDIT: Thanks everyone. I have been mixing about a year now and honestly knew what was put forth, but just needed to be sure. The way people talk about 50/50 make it seem like its something magical, so I was starting to get lost. I've honestly never tried it because between me and my friends, no one likes thick juice.

I do not believe that it mutes flavors more, if you let the flavors steep it will mix in just fine. Just the flavoring has a little more difficulty mixing in with the VG. But definitely shoots out clouds!

VG is a bit sweeter than pg, but it isn't too noticeable from my experience. It does mute flavors a bit more as well. Also clouds. VG is the main component to make more visible vapor.

My body doesn't like PG at all so I don't use it, except for what's in flavorings. My mixes turn out being 80% VG and 20% Stuff That's Not VG.

I like my vape to be as smooth as possible; that's why I go with high VG blends.

I ran out of vg and have made 2 juices @ 100% pg.... at 3mg it takes my breath away. Litwrally, the throat hit from pg is just horrid, vg is so much smoother

some people like me are allergic to PG. dripping makes this much more intense. if i dripped a PG heavy blend for a few days i would actually get sick. also clouds. some people say you need PG to carry flavor but this simply is not true. every juice i make is 70%Vg or more and they are all delicious. i sell bulk juice to some shops in my area with good feedback. the only PG i add is whats already in the flavor concentrate i use. although it helps that most of them are dessert/bakery type flavors so the natural sweetness of Vg helps out. PG makes my sinuses lock up and the number of people allergic is more than you would think. some people actually quit vaping and go back to cigs because it makes them sneeze and cant breathe out of their nose without realizing that these are symptoms of PG allergy. Fuck pg. I dont understand why more shops dont make heavy VG blends its so much better for you and people with the allergy wont go back to cigs. Dripping PG at high wattage is not safe in my opinion
