I discovered something AMAZING!
submitted about 11 years ago by pinkvaporMixologist

Mix pretty much any fruit flavor with A LOT of cotton candy and sweet cream flavoring and you've got an ADV. I mixed 5% blueberry + 5% papaya + 15% cotton candy + 5% sweet cream, and it's fantastic!

30% total flavoring? that seems like a lot.

I ususally wouldn't do that much, but the sweet cream was added afterward. Next time I'll do a little less, but it's still really good!

Here's What I don't understand. Yes 20% is the suggested standard. But that's because flavors can deaden, have no difference, or be chemically tasting at higher volumes. But, if you happen to find a flavor tastes great at a higher percentage, why does it matter? shit, try vaping pure flavor. I've done it a few times. If it tastes phenomenal at 30%... fucking enjoy it! Don't be afraid to play around because of a loose general suggestion.

You seem like the kind of guy I'd go to a punk rock show with. I dig your style.

I have a bottle of unflavored 4mg VG I use to taste new flavors, dry burn and remove the wick, 1 drop flavor, 4 or so VG, and taste that way. Works well

So 1 part fruit, 3 parts cotton candy, 1 part sweet cream?

Interesting.

Yep! In fact, next time I might even do more sweet cream and a little less cotton candy, but it's still wonderful.

I find that sweetener tends to mute flavors, but I've only tried it at low percentages, usually 1-3%. Will give this a shot with CAP's Sweet strawberry and watermelon.

Those are great flavors! That'll be good I bet.

Do you notice the individual fruit flavorings, or is it just a vaguely fruity sweet vape? I'm curious because I know that cotton candy by itself at 15% tends to taste like.. an airy cotton candy haha.

Well FW Papaya is probably the strongest fruit flavoring I've come across, so yeah, even at 5% it stands out. And the Capella Blueberry I'll use more of next time. And the sweet cream helps with airiness.

How many times have you tried this?

Once myself. My coworker does it with almost EVERY flavor she gets, so I've tried it a lot. I was trying to figure out why her flavors are always so awesome.

How is that not too much flavoring?

I usually like 20-25% flavoring. And like I said, next time I'll do less.

Cotton Candy/EM at high levels does interesting things.
