Hey all! I've been working on a pretty good VC, but I'd like to find a more egg-y flavor to add to it (think Bryce's VC). Anyone have any good flavors for it?
I'd also like to see if anyone else does a custard-stone (like the milkstone, fruitstone, etc). I've heard a bunch of people, including myself, say that bith CAP and TFA VC need a pretty long "steep" time...I was thinking about a strong mix of a couple VC's, some Vanilla Twist, and VBIC....maybe a few others. I'd prob do a long heat bath to bring out some of the flavors, then add about 10-20% as a custard main flavor...
Edit: Happy 4th to all my fellow US diy-ers!
Edit: to the downvoter(s), I def tried a search to almost no avail.
Im always looking for a good van. custard...I have a few good ones but always looking for the one that knocks I out of the park...good luck!..lol I'm a custard and cream fanactic, also love (Cap) Cake batter
FAs meringue.
I haven't used anything from them...I've heard a few good things, might have to place an order soon.
Have you tried this? I just mixed a batch of it yesterday, and it's fucking awesome.
Oh yeah! It's pretty good. The one I make is pretty similar...I'm looking to add that egg flavor to it.
