What are some must-have Capella flavors?
submitted about 11 years ago by sxeQ

With the 20% off code for Capella, I'm looking to pick up a few flavors - ones that don't exist in other brands like TFA, or are just flat out better than their TFA counterparts. So far I know I want to pick up watermelon and vanilla custard - what else is worth the cost?

Besides the vanilla custard you ordered, definitely get some strawberry. The Vanilla cupcake is also great for base flavoring.

That's by far the best chocolate I've ever used.

The Harvest Berry is pretty good by itself. I recommend Sweet Strawberry, and Golden Pineapple.

I was going to ask about harvest berry. I'll get this one.

I mixed just HB at 15% and I have to say it's the only single-flavor mix I've enjoyed so far. I've tried flavors from TFA, Cap, Inawera, and Hang.

I love the sweet strawberry, the sweet guava, the chocolate glazed donut, the lemon, and the harvest berry.

I've been working with the chocolate glazed doughnut it's good stuff. Currently working on a strawberry cream filled doughnut. It's not quite there yet need a few adjustments on percentages.

I make a choc custard eclair with it...I have a bunch of people who loooove it. It's pretty sweet, but not crazy. I'm going to work on a French Vanilla Donut soon.

Mmm sounds nice. I originally bought it for coffee and doughnuts but most coffee concentrates are nasty so it sat in a drawer for a while. This strawberry creamy doughnut is good at the moment but it's gonna be amazing once my percentages are dialled in :)

Capella Banana is my absolute favorite banana flavoring. I've used a bunch of other ones, but it seems to have the most dessert-y type flavor like for banana pudding or banana walnut bread flavors. Lemon Meringue Pie is really good at 25% as a standalone flavor. Sweet Strawberry and Sweet Watermelon make amazing fruit mixes. And the Concord Grape makes a great candy flavor.

Sweet Tangerine at 15% is great by itself if you like those types of vapes. All of their "sweet" fruits are good that I've tried. The Sweet Strawberry is my favorite strawberry.

I'd pick up a little Cake Batter,Butter,Egg Nog (these go great with the Custard)

Cinnamon Danish Swirl is great and I like their Coconut the best and they have the best Marshmallow IMO. I've heard great things about their Sugar Cookie but haven't tried it yet.

Their Peanut Butter is good as well. Haven't tried any other manufacturers PB to compare though.

How do you mix in Cake Batter? I've tried it at 2-3% in my dessert-y mixes and it just tastes strange. I got it to "fill" out some empty chocolate flavors but it doesn't seem to do the trick.

My favorites are: Cinnamon Danish Swirl, Vanilla Custard, Vanilla Cupcake, Graham Cracker, and Hazelnut (tastes more like some kind of hazelnut-ish dessert than straight hazelnut IMO, but it's good).
