I'm a regular contributor to this sub and an avid DIY-er. One thing I've noticed is missing from what's on offer from all the vendors out there is a place that will do 100% custom e-juice, in any size, any bottle, using any flavor or combination of flavors, that will allow us to try out new and different stuff that maybe we wouldn't want to invest in purchasing a whole 4 oz bottle from FlavorWest right away, or maybe we wouldn't want to put in the time to mix up 10 different concentrations of a flavor to see what works and what doesn't.

I saw your sign-up come through... At present it will probably super difficult to ship to New Zealand without a huge cost but let me look into the options! I have your e-mail now so I can contact you directly with what I can come up with.
I reckon what you could do to make it worth while is do a percentage in shipping... Like spend blah blah and get 50% off shipping and make tiers as to how to make it worth while to both you and your customers. I truly think you would get a large customer base if you can do something like that. Almost everyone at my work now uses e-cigs so I can certainly spread the word once you are up and running. :)

When we enter full operation, we plan on carrying every available flavor from all of the major vendors in our library, allowing for mixing and matching on a level that wouldn't normally be accessible to the everyday DIY-er.
While that site might be an approximation of our service, we plan on providing as extensive a service as possible to the vaper that knows exactly what they want or wants to experiment with many different options.
That and we're headquartered in the US. Unless steeping is requested, products will be shipped out next-day via USPS Priority in most cases.
It sounds interesting, but I'm confused. So basically, I can order say 5ml bottles of every lemonade flavoring you have in stock to avoid buying them all myself? How much would each bottle cost?
You can do exactly that and that's exactly what this was made for!
We're still working out pricing but right now we're going on the model of around $10.99 for a 30 mL bottle (with free shipping). We will probably be able to offer 5 mL bottles at around $2.99, possibly even less depending on our shipping costs during the alpha period. The goal for alpha is to stay around break-even and offer rock-bottom prices so people have the opportunity to try us out and see if they like us.
We're just getting started with this so pricing will be adjusted as we go based on customer input, so please, let me know what you think!
EDIT: Also we will have deals on sampler packs for people trying out variations on recipes or different types of recipes. Again, pricing is something still in the works but, say, a 10-pack of 5 mL samplers we could sell for around $20
It sounds attractive but I'm not sure it will be economically viable for that use case scenario. I hope it is, but I don't think I'd pay $2 for a 5ml sample when I can buy 4ml of the flavoring for $1.50.
It could work for some of the more expensive boutique flavoring company's though. I might be more inclined to drop a nice chunk on a very large bundle for convenience sake which would help you by streamlining your work load. Something like a set bundle of 30 flavors that changes each month. You could then make them assembly line style. I think the key here is to get in boutique flavors that we can't buy samples of for a few bucks.

Like I said, pricing is yet to be determined and I will go as low as possible during the first couple of months, if we can get it down to $1 for a 5 ml, we will definitely do that but at that rate we'd have to institute a minimum order for the shipping to still be free.
That being said, yes some flavorings you can buy as a 4ml sample for $1.50, but we will carry every flavor available from the top vendors (FW, Capella, TFA, Lorann) as well as anything else we can find or is recommended to us. This will be a very customer-driven company.
We're also planning on doing subscription accounts with weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly samplings of flavors based on pre-determined preferences (say, if you like fruity flavors or bakery flavors, etc., those will be included in your subscription) with a set volume at a set price.

If I have a particular flavor mixture that I like, will I be able to pull up past recipes with your site or will I have to reinput thw mixture each time? Would your operation be big enough for b&m's to create juices with your site and order in bulk?
Also, how long will this alpha be open?
Alpha will open up as soon as I can get all of our equipment in place in our lab (slated for September 1st but if I can get everything up and running before that I will) and will run through October 31st. After that, Beta (free shipping on larger orders and still low prices -- members who joined up during alpha will retain free shipping on everything) will run through the end of the year. We will open for full operations January 1st, but people who joined up for Alpha and Beta will get exclusive status in our system and will be able to get exclusive deals, and discounts.
(1) Yes, once we're open you will have a user account that will keep a history of your orders and you will be able to re-order exact mixes you've ordered in the past
(2) Yes, we will be able to support volume for B&M's and in the future hope to offer private label services, as well.

Actually everything's right on track. I bought the hosting space before I had a business bank account so there was no automatic debit and I'm in the Caribbean on vacation, I can't do anything about it until I get back as data service is spotty at best here. For alpha the pricing structure will be as follows, for everything:

10 ml - $3.99
30 ml - $10.99
60 ml - $20.99
120 ml - $39.99
We'll have quantity breaks for 5 - pack samplers of anything at 10% off and 10 - packs at 15% off, and free shipping on every order until the end of October.
