Delicious. Just one drop of FA peppermint in 5mls of juice (15% with my extract)
Highly recommend. Will be doing more.
Used tazo earl grey (contains essence of bergamot, nothing turned up any red flags though it is phototoxic so dont go spreading a liter of your juice on your skin)
Been wanting to do this... Notes on technique?
Had a small tupperware, two teabags and poured some pg over it. Probably around 15-25 ml but i did it by eye, as some gets absorbed into the bags. (i dont like squeezing teabags, bruises the leaves) i consider what gets absorbed into the bags a loss. Capped it and let it sit in a dark cool place for about 3 days.
Yielded about 9 ml of freely dispensable concentrate without forcing/squeezing the bags.
What if you opened the bags and put the loose tea in the pg and the strained it after aging?
15% extract? did you do cold or hot? what was the time length? I ask because another user was asking about a specific tea flavor and I suggested they extract. See: http://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/28nraj/moroccan_mint_tea_juice_xpost_from_relectronic/
EDIT: Man I'm on a roll with this not reading before I post thing... I see your comment below regarding the questions.
Cold, 3 day steep in pg. i posted the the method a few comments up. I dont like tons of flavor, its pretty balanced though. Figured diy extracts arent going to be near as potent as professional ones.
Next one i will try a couple different steeping lengths and see how they differ.
Heres what it ended up looking like

I made some out of this OMG it's so good.
I did it the same way as OP but I used VG and after I soaked the bag I let it hang over the bowl for an hour. I wanted all the VG back that I could get.
Yes my next trip will be to a tea shop to get some of dat good shit.
That looks...really good though. Im gonna try a london fog mix (appropriate name) to add some milk tones and vanilla notes. Anyone have a good milk/cream flavor? Seems really hard to find one without diketones.
i have FA vienna cream (a little too sweet worked ok in my coffee extract though) FA fresh cream (close but the dairy just tastes weird...tastes like how milk smells a day before it goes bad...maybe i just need to let it age) and FA catalan cream which is good but dont think it has the notes im looking for.
I've got plans to try this with gunpowder and sencha green teas soon. If that works well, I'm doing matcha green tea. Matcha is the flavor I want and have lots of ideas for, but it cost too much to jump straight to it.
Thank you for another confirmation this works.
I have done this with Twinnigs English Black, Korean Corn tea, and several strains of coffee. I use a double boiler with pg and my extract ingredient, then I filter through cheese cloth, letting the pg drain naturally over a few days in a vacuum sealed jar ( jar has a rod I hang the cheese cloth from, much like you would do for straining cheese curds).
The corn tea was a failure, imo. Feint flavor when vaped @ 20%. No flavor below and no increase above.
