A good blue raspberry recipe?
submitted over 11 years ago by TheOnlySausagesMixologist

ive tried so many, visavape, custom ECblend, blue jazzberry, none of that strong blue raspberry taste like in say a dunkin donuts coolata or a dum dum pop, has anyone made one this strong? when i add flavor shots it just makes the blueberry pronounce over the raspberry and taste bad, so idk has anyone made a good recipe for this?

I've actually got a blue raspberry Jolly Rancher in my mouth right now...maybe similar to a Dum Dum? I'm picking up some sweet and sour profile that says pineapple...maybe even a little malic acid to punch up the sourness.

I'm spitballing here, but I were going to make this, I think I'd start around here (using all TFA):

6.5% Blueberry Extra

6.5% Raspberry Sweet

3% Pineapple

3% EM (or less, not sure)

1 drop per 5ml Sour

That's pretty darn close to 20% flavoring and under most circumstances I wouldn't recommend going over it. However, you may have to try a few iterations to balance the blueberry/raspberry, not over-pineapple it, and adjust EM (if it's even necessary). Good luck!

Not as strong but I really enjoyed blue jazz berry and frosty blue jazz berry from the vapor chef. Got a sample bottle of the stuff and ended up ordering more.

http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/15439/Holocron This was my attempt... Not the best and could probably use some more tweaking, but I abandoned it a while back to work on other flavors.

Onestopdiyshop has a blue raspberry slush flavor that's pretty damn good.

What's your secret? What percentage do you use in your mix and what, if anything, do you add extra?

To be honest I've only mixed it at 10 percent and it was great just by itself. I have the feeling it would go well with a lot of other fruits, but I haven't tried yet. It's also primarily vg based flavoring, so adjust your percentages accordingly.

Thanks! I've mixed it @ 12% and it seemed a little light. Maybe too much flavoring? I shelved the flavor but maybe it's time to revisit it :-)

I'm vaping some Inawera Blueberry right now and it's very good. Just got this and their raspberry a week or so ago and mixed a couple quick 10ml testers. Thinking they are the best berry flavors I've had so far but I haven't had any time to work with them in a mix yet, beyond dripping some overlaps with other things. Planning to introduce one of them to a little cactus this week.

OK so, I really liked this idea. Read all the comments and decided to give it a go. Came up with this and it's very good. All tfa flavors. Blueberry 7% Raspberry 7% Peach 5% Pineapple 1%

Give me feed back please. Like to know how you like / hate :( it

PS I do 60pg 40vg

Is 20% high enough for pure VG? May want to consider that. Idk I'm a tank guy
