One Man, In search of Blueberry.
submitted over 11 years ago by Crapitals

In my first DIY order, I grabbed Blueberry from TFA. For one, I didnt care for the coloring of the liquid, and the taste really wasn't that great to me either (Tried a few recipes where I swapped blueberry in for strawberry)

I realize this is totally subjective, but surely I think there may be a favorite that shines through.. so:

Whats your favorite blueberry? Have you found one may be better than another? One that perhaps is not colored (not a deal-breaker) ? I've ordered from everyone, so I've got accounts everywhere, I just want a tiny bit of input on one before I order every blueberry I can find and A/B them.

Blueberry Wild is delicious. I prefer it over Blueberry Extra. FW also has a decent blueberry, it's called Blueberry.

Is it blue or purple in color? Or clear?

Try Flavourart's Bilberry or Inawera's Czarne Jagody (Blueberry). I've used FA's and it's awesome, but I also hear Inawera's is really good too.

TFA Blueberry sucked....at first. I waited a month and it was terrific. Good things come to those that wait. If you don't like the lack of color you could add some food coloring?

Sorry. I might have had that backward, I don't particularly care for it to be colored. I'd rather it be clear.

Blueberries and Cream

15% Blueberry Wild (TFA) 3% Marshmallow (TFA) 3% Bavarian Cream (TFA) 5% White Chocolate (TFA)

Next time I'll probably leave out the white chocolate. It turned a dark purple color after 2-3 weeks of steeping.

Rich and creamy with a hint of blueberry on the inhale, blueberry really comes through on the exhale.

Sort of a coil gunker, but its close to an ADV for me. Not too sweet, good subtle flavor. Mixing in a 26% PG, 100% VG at 12mg/ml for my kayfun / russians

Another vote here for TFA Blueberry Wild.
