Banana happened.
It won't break down enough to mix with everything, give it a couple days and it will settle to a layer at the top again. Sassafras will do this too as well as orange.
Yesssss! Banana! Banana Laffy Taffy flavored ejuice that I can mix myself cheaply is my dragon! I WILL catch him! Someday...
I had one batch of blue raspberry that turned milky like that. Tasted fine, but cracked the tank on my Kayfun. I think I had too much of one of the flavors in there. Hasn't happened since I've refined the recipe.
Thank you for the reply. I may not even try to vape it. If enough people think it will probably be safe, I don't think I'll have to worry about tank cracking, since my main tank right now is a Kanger ProTank 2.
If it's made with "safe" ingredients, why would it be any less safe just because it turned cloudy?
Can you tell us what else is in it?
Personally, I wouldn't worry. It may even clear on its own as it steeps. As long as you're using "normal" flavourings, you can't go too far wrong.
I had this happen to a raspberry lemonade that I made. It tasted fine and it cleared up after a few weeks. Its clear as a bell now. I'm not sure what causes this but I was kind concerned at first that maybe something might be contaminated. Just put it away and let it clear itself out for a period of time and I'm sure it will clear up.
Here's the recipe: 50/50 Nic: 60mg VG 3ml PG: 10.5ml VG: 12ml TFA Ripe Banana: 4.5
I use syringes/graduated cylinders for measuring. I have heard that TFA Ripe Banana can destroy syringes, so I tried what I could to keep it off the plunger. I used a buffer of air/VG base to attempt this. Is it ruined? Was it the plunger? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
glass cup with a scale seems to be the way to remedy the issue
I have been reading lots of posts in this sub and r/electronic_cigarette about mixing by weight. I'm seriously considering it. Do you mix that way, and if so, do you like it better than other methods you have tried?
