Are Lorann flavors really as strong as they say?
submitted over 11 years ago by Lgbtboi

When I ordered my Lorann flavorings I remember reading that they are 4 times as strong as other flavorings. is that true? will it effect my juices?

My experience so far with the Lorann's flavors I have used is that somewhere around 1 drop per ml seems to do fine for single flavors.

I mostly make my own flavors, but obviously there are some I just can't make so I get the Lorann's in a local store for boosters. My own flavors take at least 2 drops per ml, sometimes 3 or even 4 depending on which one I'm using.

It varies from flavor to flavor slightly. For coffee, it's a simple case of placing some coffee grounds in a jar, topping it up with PG, then simmering the bottle gently on the stove inside a pan of water for about half an hour or so.

/u/onions_can_be_sweet is probably the best person for extraction techniques. I'm still experimenting with a lot of mine.

Some are. Ones that I know are super strong are Pina Colada and Bavarian Cream. Pear, on the other hand, isn't so crazy strong.
