Ordered $200 worth of TPA flavors, package was delivered but not to me...
submitted over 11 years ago by Newfff

So as the title says. I was told by Canada Post that I have to email The Pefumers Apprentice and they will start an investigation through USPS, so I did just now..but even if they find out who it was delivered to, it's not like they are going to give me that address that they delivered it to.

So do you think I'm out $200, or would TPA actually replace a package if it was not delivered to me? Anyone have this same problem before?

How long has tracking said it was delivered? On several occasions, I've had tracking show delivered, but I didn't actually receive the package until the next day, or even the day after that. If it's only been a day or two, there is still a chance that it might show up. Don't give up hope.

I believe the sender has to be the one to file a claim if you requested insurance. If you did indeed request insurance, then your odds are good of having the vendor replace your order. If it's not insured, it will completely depend on the mood that the vendor is in when he/she receives your communication. They are not required to replace it.

Since June 9th. The weird thing is Canada post shows no record of anything when using the tracking number. Yet USPS says it was exchanged with Canada Post in Vancouver, it cleared customs and then was delivered to me.

Yeah, TPA told.me they will reship the package 1 time. Not their fault but pretty awesome that they will do that.

On a side note - I hope you signed up for the wholesale prices.

NOPE. some guy a few months ago ordered like $800 worth to Australia. He got really pissed when he posted up to show off his haul after we told him about wholesale... :P

It is free, but you have to register for it then login etc. It is fast to do but kind of confusing. It saves you major bank though, even on small orders.

Thanks guys. I think I'll do my order with them (canada) I can't find too many that will ship over the border. I was sad to see that Wizard Labs doesn't.

No. It is a seperate section of the site.

For example:

Banana Nut Bread Flavor

Normal:

4ml - $1.40 (USD)

15ml - $3.80 (USD)

1 oz - $5.00 (USD)

.

Bulk:

4oz - $6.50 (USD)

16oz - $15.00 (USD)

32oz - $28.50 (USD)

Sweet. Someone posted their huge vape mail here once and was gutted to find out about the bulk prices.

I've heard good things about TPA with this kind of situation. Normal procedure is for the seller to file a claim with the postal service, and either re-ship or re-ship pending the resolution of their claim. I think TPA will re-ship once before the claim is resolved, provided they have some sense that the order actually went wrong.

I wouldn't worry, I'm sure it'll be resolved appropriately. Any business that ships as much as they do knows this is just part of doing good business.

Yeah, they said they will reship and to let them kow if the original package turns up.

Awesome. With a package that size, they'd probably send you a return shipping label for the duplicate, but if it went to the wrong address it's probably lost and you won't have to worry with that hassle.
