Time to try using plum in Phoney Peary. He's said in the past that their isn't any any apricot in it, that may be the substitution.

I think the plum was in a small 4oz bottle. I will have to find it again tomorrow.

The gallon jugs are arranged in alphabetical order. The two gallon jugs of silver cloud flavor are in the "P" section if that helps...

If I am not mistaken, this if VC in his humble beginning. TFA and FW mainly, although it's tough to make out any labels.

Does anyone know who makes the flavor in the amber glass bottles that are on his top shelf?

EDIT: Never mind, I see someone ID it as Silver Cloud.

And the gallon jugs with the large white label with small black text on them... Do you think those are TFA gallons?

EDIT: yes they are

Very interesting, as a juice maker and vendor, I appreciate closer look at what he's doing.

I do have one request though, it would be nice if people ask you about the juice, to pimp it a little bit, since TVC is doing the inventing, people that aren't diyers should be told where to get it and how good it is.

I really wish we could get a good Hobbes Blood clone. I'm going through like 2 or 3 60ml bottles a month. :(

Well I can see coconut candy (TPA) on the first shelf, Watermelon (TPA) on the second shelf, and a TPA Strawberry above it but dont know which one.. probably ripe. Can't quite tell what any of the top shelf flavors are so maybe there's a mix of the same flavors from that vendor?

There's a great clone on /r/diy_ejuice. I just made 200ml+. Added a bit to it, but it's pretty damn close

Hm. So I'm starting to near the selection of flavors they use, although maybe not in the quantity.

There's a company that I've done work for that has a lab and offices in my building... it smells like a candy shop.

Heh, it's like looking into a chefs kitchen to find out he uses onions carrots parsnips basil parsley chives leeks potatoes sweet potatoes lemongrass and cilantro.

You still don't know how the hell he's getting the Stew to have such amazingly rich flavour.

This says nothing....

by 3tern1tyover 11 years agoMixologist

This says TFA and FW are the primary vendors. It also says which flavors from which companies. That plus the notes you can taste = better clones.

It does say that the Blood Orange and Cucumber Mint come from Flavor West, among other things.

Yup. There's actually a lot of information there for anyone who cares. Looks like mostly TFA, some FW and then there's the top shelf concentrates that they seem to only use a few flavors of (I see two on the shelf below).
