Hey everyone. I've been making my own juice for a month or two and based on the advice of a couple people on this board I've decided to dive into making my own menthol concentrate. Just looking for some advice on where to get these crystals. I'm looking for the best bang for my buck. I plan on mixing them in pg. How much should I buy? If I fill a bottle with half menthol crystals and half pg how long should I expect them to last? Thanks in advance for any help.

I got 20 grams from myfreedomsmokes three months ago when I started mixing. I still have half of it and I use it quite a bit. If I put a finely ground 1/8 of a teaspoon in 30mL with no other flavor it's a pretty smash-mouth menthol vape. 1/16 of a teaspoon with 10% of just about any flavorwest flavor makes "ice flavor". Easy and cheap.
It evaporates eventually but what remains shouldn't be any less potent.
Okay perfect Thanks. So that jar you sent the link to would basically last a lifetime? How is it to vape just plain menthol? I've also considered doing tha in a pinch because I heard it doesn't require any steeping. Is there any difference in quality between amazon or a place like my freedom smokes?
Yeah, I'd think it would last a loooooong time, but there's that evaporation thing.
This is just like the stuff my grandma would put in a pot of water on the stove and drape a towel for congestion. AFAIK the stuff I got from MFS is the same thing, just repackaged in small amounts.
Yeah, menthol isn't too bad for a vape, it's great for vaper's tongue and it's what I vaped for two weeks while I let my first DIYs steep.
Amazon greenwalds or something or other is like 4oz(enough crystals to fit in both hands, way more than enough) for 10$
Okay. I'll give that a look. Any thoughts on buying the pg to mix it on off amazon? I'd imagine as long as it's usp grade it should be good? How much pg would I need for 4 ounces of menthol crystals?
I don't know where I got mine because it comes out so damn cheap you'll never run out of them. I mix half and half then use slightly less of them where I would use other menthol flavor in recipes. And when you mix, add the pg first then the crystals to get half and half. If you fill something half full with crystals it won't actually be half full due to the air in between the crystals so fill a little flavor bottle half with pg, then add crystals until it's full and shake/wait until they dissolve.
Can menthol crystals be blended into vg vs pg?
I bought a packet of menthol crystals from wizard labs in December, and I use a drop or two of menthol liquid in practically every tank I vape, and I still have tons left. They last a LONG time. Careful, you can frost your tonsils - you really need very little to make it good and cold.
Tip: Crush those crystals before mixing with pg or they re-crystalize into a glob at the top of the bottle.
first time i tried menthol crystals i mixed it half and half with my juice instead of just couple drops.. lol the newbie days were rough
