I forgot about hobbes blood. I loved that one. I'm gunna give it a whirl using ~1% coconut extra.. since i don't like it at high %, and TFA honeydew.

edit: also curious about TVC not using CAP? I can't remember the taste well enough to remember it's strawberry characteristics.. Gunna smell check all my strawberries and decide what i will shoot for.. I'm thinking crisp due to the coconut and marshmallow giving plenty of body.. maybe ill go half and half inawera strawberry/wild strawberry...

I have been trying to nail this recipe since I started DIY. I absolutely love TVC's Hobbe's Blood, it's my ADV. From what I understand, TVC was using TFA and Flavor West Flavors when he created Hobbe's Blood. I could be wrong but that is what I have heard. Here's where I'm at after numerous attempts to replicate it.

• 7% TFA Strawberry
• 4% TFA Watermelon
• 2.5% TFA Coconut Candy
• 0.5% TFA Smooth
• 0.2% Capella Cucumber

Now I know TVC doesn't use Capella flavors but I feel the Cucumber helps the Watermelon blend a little better and I didn't have the TFA version on hand. I just made another mix adding the TFA Marshmallow at 2% just to see what happens but I honestly feel it doesn't belong in the mix but maybe I'll try it at a lower % and check it out. Keep trying folk's, I believe we are getting closer!

Can we see what, if any, advances our community has made on coming closer to the Hobbes Blood clone.... I have wasted soooo much juice and haven't even come close... Let's see what the community has come up with or just there closest concoction to date... Thanks!!! I've tinkered with sweet watermelon watermelon tfa watermelon fa sweet strawberry strawberry tfa strawberry fa coconut cap coconut extra tfa coconut candy tfa.... EM/sweetner.... citric/malic/tartaric... These the different parts I have used to create in MANY imaginative ways to try to come close, but to no avail... I'm bringing it here so we can make it happen. Has anyone yet to come remotely close?
