In a previous post of mine I had mentioned that eventually once I am good DIY and have some great recipes, I'd like to start a business selling some juice. I decided I was going to order a bunch of TFA flavors for experimenting, but once I mentioned that I wanted to sell later someone said "if that's the case, why not order form Flavor Art, Inawera, or Hangsen?"
I assumed everyone here used mostly TFA because they has the best flavors overall. If you were in my position where would you order from?
I planned to order from every company eventually, but figured a big order from TFA at first would be good.
The problem with asking who has the best flavor's is everyone is going to tell you who they think is best...some folks will tell you "xyz" has the best flavor's even tho' they've never tried any others.
Each flavor manufacturer has their strong points, some more than others. The only way to know which one works the best for you is to try them all...if you like strawberry, order strawberry from tpa, cap, flavourart, inawera, hangsen etc...don't assume everyone here uses tfa flavors because they're better...that's simply not a true assumption.
I mainly mix tobacco's. I still mix some of my Hangsen tobacco's but I've since found Inawera's tobacco's to be much more flavorful/realistic than Hangsen.
I don't do fruits and desserts but I do keep track of long time diy'ers who have tried every flavor manufacturer there is...what I see is FlavourArt, Inawera & Hangsen the most preferred among these folks.
If you really want a broad unbiased opinion you need to make the rounds on different forums and get a more general consensus but even with that you're going to have to mix some dud flavors before you find the ones that works great for you. I won't be so pretentious as to tell you what to order other than saying variety is the spice of life...

Oh damn, it was you haha. Yeah, nah I have some money to try quite a bit..just didn't want to order from all companies at once. I was aware of the ones you mentioned..but after your post I was wondering if I should try one of those first. For the price the 144 flavor box for TFA seems good, and then I'll try some of those companies shortly after. Thanks for the help.
TFA is a good place to get start quality and price wise. But some companies are better than others with certain types of flavors. TFA is good with fruit flavors, not so good with tobacco and desert type flavors. Capella and FW both have good desert type flavors, and decent fruit flavors. Inawera is reportedly real good with fruits, and Hangsen is the king of tobaccos.
If you have the money to spend, go ahead and order the 144 bottle sampler from TFA. You will make use of almost all of them eventually. If you want sample sizes of FW, you can get them at diyjuice.com (A flavor west company). They carry A LOT more than you can get from Flavor West directly, but that's because they sell their "not so popular" flavors there too.
For the rest, I would use ecigexpress. They have small sized bottles from Capella, Inawera, and Hangsen.
Can you link me to the tfa sample deal. I can't find it on the site.
wanna know a secret? you know the Bears from Grizzly Vapes? he uses tfa. or at the very least he said he did on the plumes of hazard.

that is the question. i suspect the secret is in the mixing process itself, not necessarily the flavors used
Same. Who knows, maybe he makes big batches of a concentrate and throws it in a blender. Or in a dishwasher for the heat from that. Or maybe he has found something to use as an additive to help the aging process progress faster. There are a lot of possibilities and I have spent some time thinking about it. Probably a little too much. XD
Lotsa great answers here and I don't know if there is a "best". I use Lorann for convenience because I live about two miles from the factory but if I was limited to a single manufacturer based on my own experience and no one else's it'd probably be FlavourArt.

Missed your post but I have some Vapers Tek nic myself. What do you think of it? For me it's super clean and REALLY strong. I usually mix 6-12mg and I had to step it down to 3-5.
I'm really liking the VT nic. For quite a while I've been suspecting the effects of nicotine in the overall flavor profile. It really dawned on me when I purchased some WL nic. I mixed a few tried and true recipes using exact percentages and immediately noticed the flavors were muted and a nasty metallic taste that was overpowering my flavors. All these were mixed at 18mg...after more testing I went from 18mg down to 6mg with the WL nic. The nasty taste was still easily detectable, altho was somewhat lessened.
I was somewhat skeptical when I first read about the VT nic but from previously following the huge nicotine comparison thread I felt like Kevin was pretty keen on his knowledge of the nuisances of various nicotines. So I figured what the hell and ordered a small 120ml bottle of the VT nic. It was evident to me on the first mix with the VT nic just how much effect nic had on the flavors. It was night and day to me...my flavors were much, much more pronounced/flavorful. The VT nic is just so clean and tasteless, now I'm finally tasting my flavors like never before...now my flavors aren't having to battle my nicotine for dominance. Another thing I'm seeing is that I've been able to lower my flavor percentages from previous mixes because I'm not having to up my flavoring percentages to mute a foul tasting nicotine.
I don't know that I've noticed the VT nic being really strong cause it's so dang clean/smooth, but now that you mention it, I occasionally get a little head rush similar to when you didn't smoke for a few days and then smoked a cigarette. The more I mix with the VT nic the more I like it...I'm still at 18mg but I ~~think~~ know I can easily move down to around 8-10mg.
