Hey guys,
As the title says. I don't want to use flavors containing Acetoin and some other ingredients that are more risky, as I'm planning to sell some of the juice once I get some good flavors going. Any advice on what to add for creaminess that does not have any of those ingredients?
My understanding is that flavour arts don't use Acetoin in their flavouring. I am vaping on a Vienna Cream solo right at the moment testing it to start building a vanilla custard, it seems pretty creamy. Their plain cream definitely added some nice creaminess to my Pina Colada. I am finding it tricky to build a good vanilla custard from their flavours but am sticking to it because I think they are the safest flavouring company around. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.
http://shop.perfumersapprentice.com/flavorsworkshop/custard.html According to this, you can't have a custard taste without it. FA says they don't use it, but they don't offer an msds like tfa does. Which seems kinda shady on their part, and I'd bet my last dollar that they use it in small %.
flavor art actually is the most transparent and vapor friendly flavor manufacturer there is. look at their website and their clear stream program. their custard is more a lemon custard than vanilla. vienna cream and fresh cream make a good combo. try a little fa coconut also its very thick and creamy, maybe 1.5% vienna 1% fresh cream and .5% coconut. its not the same but if you have ever tried FA flavors and know the difference between flavors that have "custard notes" and ones that dont you would clearly tell they do not contain any "custard" notes in them . very different. I've tried at least 60-70 flavor art flavors. all very good. very clean. you will tell the difference in how long your coils will last . very true to their name flavors and you use very low percentages so you are vaping less total flavoring. i can mix 5 flavors under 5% and have better flavor than other brands at 15 and 20 % total flavoring
