Came across a large amount of cigar tobacco, need suggestions on how to proceed.

Hey guys, long time lurker, first time post.

My friend owns the local liquor store and he has been giving me all the wooden boxes that the cigars come in.. originally I wanted them to organize my juice collection..however to my surprise they are lined with shit loads of cigar tobacco

I don't know much about making NET juices from cigar tobacco or extracts at all for that matter, I wasn't sure if anyone have experience with the isopropyl alcohol and boiling water methods. I was hoping someone can help me make the best of this new adventure, I will even be so kind as to send some of the extract I make to you.

Also, I have already ground some up and put it in a mason jar w/ around 80% VG 15% PG and 5% Vodka just a bit over the top already, heard letting that sit for 30-40 days might yield some results?

here are some pics :: http://imgur.com/a/BowZ9#0

Looking for suggestions of advice, thanks guys!

It might not taste great, just FYI. The stuff used as decoration in boxes is usually the tobacco that's not even good enough for the lowest quality cigars.

But heck, it never hurts to try. And if you like the idea but want some good tobacco to play with, order some from http://leafonly.com.

Thanks for the link I will save that for future if this turns out. And I figured the decoration was low quality but hey it was free, doesn't hurt to see. Smells great, so I hope some of that comes through in the flavor.

Yeah I would say out it in a bunch of pg and let it steep for a while in there. Maybe even put the jar in a crock pot full of water over night.

Thanks, I will try this crockpot method to speed things along, and see if this is even worth my time.

Just to let you know, I did this with some really nice pipe tobacco. It didn't come out so great. Think tobacco tea, or wet cigarette taste. I was hoping for awesome, and I probably will try again, but don't get your hopes too high.

There's a good tutorial on Vape Squad.

Edit: I'd avoid isopropyl, that's stuff is toxic.

At least one experiment has shown that juice stepped in tobacco is harmful to cells. It might not be as bad as smoking, but it is bad.

I don't really want to search for it, but it shouldn't be any easier for me to find than you. It was posted here a few months ago and it was a legitimate laboratory experiment.
