Trying to make a TFA Blueberries and cream.. need help
submitted over 11 years ago by Nick_da_Quick

Im mixing TFA Blueberry Wild and TFA Bavarian Cream to make a Blueberries and Cream flavor. I've mixed the Blueberry Wild at 15% alone and it tasted great. I read to use 5-15% for Bavarian Cream on here so I used 5%. I used 15% Blueberry Wild and 5% Bavarian Cream in a 10ml bottle and it turned orange overnight and smells AMAZING. Me and my friend filled up with it and we are both disappointed. It tastes kinda creamy with a VERY little hint of Blueberry, which isn't what I want at all lol. Idk what to do and wanted to see if you guys could help me bring out the blueberry, while having a hint of cream. Thanks.

I'd start at 8-10% BBerry and 1%Bavarian Cream, and work up by taste from there, adding flavor as you feel it needs.

I've been using milkstone a lot recently, and I'd have to suggest you give that a shot.

Milkstone

25% PG

45% Bavarian Cream

20% Coconut Extra

10% Sweet Cream

The cream will indeed mute the flavor over time, then it usually reaches stasis. I would do what the other poster said and add a little at a time till you reach what you want. Just remember after it steeps the cream will take over some.

Unfortunately, blueberry wild (and almost all blueberry flavors) are just not that intense. Mix them with something like cream, and they are almost non existent. To get a decent blueberry flavor you may want to try mixing a few varieties together.

I suggest lowering the bavarian cream to 1-2%. Also, TFA Sour (Malic Acid) can strengthen fruit flavors a bit.. being that the blueberry wild is already pretty weak it might benefit from it. You could also try 1-2% blackberry to made the bb pop.

10% TFA Blueberry Wild, 2.5% TFA French Vanilla, 2.5% FW Dulce de Leche. This is one of the few recipes I use wild blueberry over blueberry extra. Bavarian Cream tends to suit tobacco blends better imo. TFA French Vanilla is very creamy and not so Vanilla. It also does not mute the blueberry with age, if you want a lil pop to it I would add .5% raspberry or try .5% EM rather than blackberry. in la'kech
