I'm making 0mg nicotine juice for me and to sell to friends (to cover costs). How does this look? I tried to pick out some flavors that are good on their own, and also can be combined to make some nicer things.
- PG- 500mL
- VG- 500mL
all these are TFA 8mL vials from WL
- Honeydew
- Vanilla Swirl
- Koolada
- Bavarian Cream
- Strawberry x2 (Should I get strawberries and cream? Ripe strawberry was out)
- Watermelon x2
- Coconut extra
- Double chocolate
I do plan to get some tobacco flavors later, but not much as I'm not a huge fan. Also, juicy peach was completely out. So was pear. /sad
I'm also trying to avoid tank crackers, because all of my friends that will buy the juice are just starting off with basic eGo kits, and I don't want to mess up their setup.
All opinions are appreciated!
I would look for a different coconut. I have coconut extra, and it makes everything I add it to smell and taste like a tanning salon.
Huh. Yeah I was gonna get it for making a snake oil type blend (pear/cream/coconut) but since I can't get pear I added it just because I might add it to something. What's a favorite TFA flavor for you?
Coconut Extra is fine, you just need to use it at .5% or less. You probably would want more VG than PG. I go through it 4x as fast.
I plan on making 60/40 VG/PG, though I'm not sure. The friends I will be selling to have starter kit top coil clearomizers, so I don't want it to be too thick to wick, but it still needs to produce good vapor. Maybe I'll go with 70/30. I can get 6oz of PG from CVS for $5 and don't have to pay for shipping, so that works out haha.
We assume a lot of things with the flavors we use. We just assume they are safe or at least not as harmful as smoking. No one knows for sure. FlavorArt seems to be actively testing their flavorings for unsafe chemical such as (diacetyl, acetoin, acetyl proprionyl) and on the other hand, while not trying to hide the fact TFA/TPA does a good job informing customers exactly which of their flavors contain these chemicals that can be harmful if inhaled...if you would like to see a list of TFA/TPA flavors that contain "acetoin"...see this http://shop.perfumersapprentice.com/searchadv.aspx?SearchTerm=acetoin&SearchDescriptions=1
I'm not trying to create any sort of scare alert, just saying that people need to be aware what they are inhaling and especially if you're planning on selling/giving away juice, then people need to have the information and choice...myself, I've replaced any TFA flavors that contains these chemicals with similar FlavourArt flavors that have been tested not to contain such...just some fyi...the choice is your's...
