That feeling when you realize after 4 days that the 100 ml batch isn't 6 mg but 1.4 mg just because you forgot to change how many miligrams of nicotine is in your base.

I would also advise not mixing while baked.
Ive ruined so many mixes by not following my own advice.
Simple. Mix up the same batch in the same quantity with extra nicotine (use a calculator to figure out how strong it has to be) and then mix the two together and BOOM! You're back to your target strength.
That said, I hope the mix is a tasty one because you've now got 200ml of the stuff to go through. :P
edit: Or if you want to just up the nicotine, you could figure out what the maximum level of nicotine you have... add enough flavouring to the straight up nicotine liquid so that you're not throwing your flavouring ratios out and simply add that...
So, you have 1.4 but you want 6.
So, given that the unit is mg/ml, and with the 100 ml that is at the wrong strength, it should be a relatively simple matter to calculate what you have to add to it to give you the right strenght.
So, let's assume you're aiming for 100 ml more. mainly to help keep the maths simpler. we can reduce that later.
If you want to have 100 ml that when added to your existing 100 ml, then you have to take a stronger amount that when added will average out to 6. So, (forgive my maths as it wasn't my strong suit in school) for you to have 200 ml with 6 mg/ml, that means you want to have a total of (2006) 1200mg of nicotine added. Assuming you are like a lot of DIYers and have 100mg/ml strength, how many mls do you have to add to get that strength? well, we already have (1001.4) 140mg in your bottle already... so, 1200-140=1060mgs need to be added. if you have the usual strenght, that means you have to add 10.6mls to up that to your preferred strength.
Now, that would work as is if you wanted to drop in 10.6mls of 100mg/ml strength but that might risk altering your ratios of flavouring agents. How do you fix that bit up?
assuming you've aimed for about 20% flavouring, if you're adding 10.6ml of straight-up nic-liquid at 100mg/ml, how much flavouring do you need to add to keep the taste the same? This is where my maths are failing me but I'm sure that some kind DIYer out there may see this and have the solution. So, I'd like to pass this one off to whoever can do the maths for that bit (because I'm not an A-student at math... I'm more of an art-class kid.)
Thanks for the detailed explanation, but I'm kind of used now to 1.4 mg, I think my next batch will be 3mg.
I've vaped my other two flavors ( I mix 2-3 recipes ranging from 10ml - 100ml so I can switch them when I want ) which are 6mg and after few pulls I got a nic overdose. All in all , this is a good thing, I might add some more nic base to the mix just to bring it to 3mg.
I'm not complaining, I wanted to cut down to 3mg anyways, this just helped along :D
okay, though I do feel I have to mention again that I'm not a maths person so my formulas may be incorrect... but at the least the fundamental principle should be the same: add an amount of liquid with a stronger strength so that the averaged out strength of the resulting mix will be the amount you want.
I don't have those kind of problems but I do spill my flavorings. It sucks and my whole table smells like whatever flavor I spilled. The whole room does, really.
