Does anyone have a recipe for this? I cant even figure out what flavors are in it.. I taste strawberry, some type of cream, and a hint of coconut.
The kicker flavor in MM is also orange cream. It gives it almost a hint of zest you miss unless you're looking for it. I think there has to be some peach in it as well to mellow out the citrus in the orange. But ever so slight amount. Off my dream box however, it taste completely different. Sweet cream like always, with believe it or not, but pear. However, the dream box changes flavors of everything, same RDA on my Chi is strawberry and cream like we all know, but off the dream box with the same power, it's pear(isn) in the flavor. Same voltage and everything btw, just regulated over traditional mechanical. I've been working with this clone, have gotten close, but not quite all the way yet.
I think your observations are dead on here, BigSpoon. First off - wow - you have quite the taster there. I'm envious.
So, I just mixed this up:
- Capella's Vanilla Custard 7%
- TPA Vanilla Swirl 2%
- Capella's Sweet Strawberry 5%
- TPA Dragonfruit .5%
- TPA Orange Cream .2%
- FA - Pear .2%
- Sucralose 1 drop per 10ml
I then put Mother's Milk and mine in two Protank 2s and A/B'd them. Firstly, my mix is an hour old after two 20 min hot water baths. That said, these are very, very close and if I weren't A/Bing them like this, I might not actually taste a difference (except for color - does Pip use artificial color???)
My observations are: 7% is too high on the vanilla custard. I agree that Orange Creme is definitely the orange flavor, but MM has more orange cream than I used. If I were to want to make an identical clone, I'd reduce the custard to 6%, up the orange creme to .4% and leave everything else the same. Maybe reduce the sucralose to 2 drops.
However, I like the one I just did better. I actually like the reduced citrus and increased custard.
Anyway, I think you totally cracked this nut. Nice work, BigSpoon.
EDIT: sucralose portion of the recipe. Also, it is already turning MM color, so I suspect that after a couple weeks it'll be similar. Finally, I note that I've added more strawberry than most other clone recipes and mine does have a stronger strawberry flavor... so adjust as you see fit.
I tried both of your variations as well as /u/chuxsux's variation as well. Ended up with:
- Capella's Vanilla Custard 6%
- TPA Vanilla Swirl 1.8%
- Capella's Sweet Strawberry 6%
- VZ Dragonfruit .4%
- TPA Orange Cream .5%
- FA - Pear .2%
- Sucralose 1 drop per 10ml
VZ Dragonfruit just imparts much more of an impact than TFA's and I found it to be superior in this mix.
Where do you get your DIY flavors? Any particular place I can get all or most of them?
I have ordered from 6 or 7 places over time. I like RTS Vapes about the best because the flavors come in glass vials. Last I checked, though, there was no dragonfruit at RTS. ECig Express, MFS, OneStop DIY Shop are all worth checking out - they've all been fast and professional.
I apologize who this is stolen from, but I copied this to my recipe list from a post on reddit and have'nt tried it yet. I still have 15ml left on a bottle of MM I bought.
Suicide Bunny Mothers Milk Clone: Capellas Sweet Strawberry 10% Lorann Cheese Cake 5% Lorann Bavarian Cream 3% NF Organic Vanilla Cream 3% Capellas Vanilla Custard 2%
There is one on the clone recipe list, but it isn't exactly a clone at all.
Yeah it's the one that /u/jim32244 posted in here, it's not a clone, just a somewhat similar flavor profile.
It's pretty good. Pretty, pretty good.
WOW BigSpoon I must say you have some really special taste buds.. I kind of notice the orange cream now that you brought it up, but pear too? I have heard that there was a hint of dragonfruit as well.. Do you mind sharing what you have so far? I need something to work with, as I have made many recipes, and none have really came close.
The one thing that I think is missing in all (most) of the recipes in this thread is a hint of cheesecake. It was also stated by Pip that there are 4 different creams in the base. I can't find the quote right now, though.
