Anyone have a halfway decent recipe? This is my favorite custard.

Honestly, I want to see what you guys come up with! I started looking for DIY tips here and on ECF's DIY subforum before I decided to make it a business. I love you guys <3

Don't worry, I'm still going to order from you. It's just, I only have so much money allotted for juice per month, and I want to try the other cloud rat flavors. Lol.

Also, you're awesome for replying on here and being cool.

I'm disappointed. ..I get no flavor out of mine...just harshness

Out of cloud rat? What are you using it on? I get insane flavor.

Dripper. What's it supposed to taste like?

I won a 120ml bottle almost 2 months ago, and get very very little flavor. Can taste the custard, but than the harshness sets in and I get nothing out of it

That's strange. Is your build using a lot of cotton? What ohm? If you go TOO low with it I've found that it dilutes the flavor and can burn a little. I usually go about .6 with it. Right now I'm hitting it at .4 and it's sometimes got a tiny little harsh, but not a lot. It's 93% VG, so it's usually pretty smooth.

What's your build?

I make a Strawberry Custard that is close to Strawberry Cloud Rat in my taste buds opinion. I do 10% PG 90% VG with 5% Capella Vanilla Custard, and 5% Capella Sweet Strawberry. I let it steep for 14-21 days.

Hm. I don't have Capella's strawberry, but I have their vanilla custard, and some TFA Ripe Strawberry, wonder if that'll work.

Also, if that's close, makes me wonder if just upping the custard a little would make it more like regular GCR.

That's what I was kind of getting at if you just up the custard to like 7% that it would be close to Giant Cloud Rat. I've also made this same ratio with Flavor Art Custard, but the FA Custard has kind of a Banana flavor in my opinion, but does mellow with steeping.

Excellent. I'll try this when I get my flavors from capella in

Well I can almost safely say that there's no DDL in it.

Ddl?

Dulce De Leche (TFA)

I see it in a lot of Custard recipes, and it has a unique scent and taste, and I dont notice it in Giant Cloud Rat at all.

hm. I hadn't thought of adding that. So that makes sense.
