That's what I've used for years. Very clean tasting and heavy vapor production.

Cool, I appreciate the quick response. I have Amazon prime so that free shipping is what really made me consider it. I'll definitely be getting this.

I use it regularly, and it's quite good, I've never had any problems with it. I personally cannot attest to it's purity (no idea on how you could do that outside of a lab setting), but I can say it vapes just as well as anything else I vape, and I haven't ever had any adverse side effects from it, so I'm going to trust them on their purity. It's also generally pretty well recommended on here, so there's that too.

Well that just seals the deal.

I also believe Wizard Labs sells the same brand, they just re-bottle it. It's great quality. I love it.

$13.50 for nearly a liter of VG seems with free 2 day shipping sounds too good to be true. I wanted to bounce this off any of you other DIY'er and get your opinion on this.

It does say USP grade - Kosher - Medical Grade on it but I've never heard of anyone using this brand. I looked through a few of the reviews and it looks like there are DIY'er using it, but will there be a noticeable difference between this and what I could get from Wizard Labs?

I got a gallon of PG and a gallon of VG shipped for 59.00. This would be more then.

No problem, I was just looking to see if there were cheaper options out there other than the normal DIY vendors.

What is there to trust? USP means USP. And yeah, I bought some recently for the first time. A+ Good would buy again.

This gets asked every couple weeks around here. Maybe it should be on the side bar or something?

by toolongtospellover 11 years ago

I think that would be a good idea.

I just bought that this last time I needed VG, and to me it seems to be better than the stuff I've gotten from DIY vendors in my opinion.

I sure hope so, because this is what I just ordered last week and I've been using it for days already.

10 lbs of pure kosher food grade USP Vegetable Glycerin (160oz) for $13.65.

So, at $13.47 and 4.57 times less, you'd need to spend $61.57 to get the same amount.

Shipping Rates

Amazon: $61.57

BulkApothecary: $27.50

You really should do more research before you order your products. Although 10 lbs is quite a bit of VG, you wouldn't need to get any more for quite some time and it only costs you an additional $14.

Oh lord, it's the 55 gallon drums of poison we have been hearing about on the news!

Say what now?

by gonzolifeover 11 years ago

There was some news story a few days ago about ejuice and how it's poison and how everyone is buying 55 gallon drums of pure nicotine, heh.

I appreciate your find but I think my wife would kill me if I got that much.

Unfortunate. :( Saving money is always fun!

Yeah, she already gives be flack for all the wire, cotton, flavors, tools, VG/PG, Nicotine base bottles, and all the recipes scribbled on post-it notes that completely cover my desk. I think a gallon of VG and PG would just add more fuel to the fire....

Maybe once I get my workbench built in the garage she will relax a bit.

Interesting, I've also seen it pretty cheap from a biodiesel supply company. The interesting thing on Bulk Apothecarie's page is that they say there is only one supplier of VG in the whole country—so any vg you buy is probably the same stuff.

I've always wanted to make my own biodiesel for my VW TDI but I already have enough DIY projects going on around the house.

I looked into a vw tdi and it was my understanding that the engine is only warrantied if you use 5% biodiesel or less.

Would that be this place?

Or another bio-diesel supply?

Not quite as cheap, it was when I was checking liter/quart bottle prices.

Can anyone speak to the quality of bulk apothecary? It looks like you can do free pick up from their store in Ohio which is only about an additional half hour away from my usual trips to Akron. $13 for 10lbs would be incredible

I've always thought that they were the best. Many people disagree with that, so I'll settle to say that they're not worse, but no better than any other place I've used.

With that logic nobody should ever buy a 10mo bottle of ejuice.

You will normally get huge deals per unit the more you buy...but depending on your vaping habits a quart may be a perfect amount.
Still I dream of 55 gallon drums of vg/pg under the christmas tree this year.

by Xanzaover 11 years agoMixologist

Well sure. 55 gallon drums are only ~$450 and is more than enough to start your own business. Why DIY for just fun when it can pay you, too? Besides, the more people selling, the better the competition, the better the prices. It's literally win, win, win.

I already have a Lego business. ..I dont think the wife would allow a vaping one too!
